Always - I feel naked without it! I only take it off when handling meat or when braiding DD's hair (it snags strands of hair and pulls them out of place).

Yes, mine is so pretty, I never want to take it off.

It is a custome design. A med. width gold band with diamonds set deep into it in an eternity style. (So the top of the diamonds are flush with the gold.)

Sadly, the jeweler's store burned down a few years ago and they never rebuilt. They did the most amazing custome jewelery.

Dh stopped wearing his a couple of years ago. He lost a LOT of weight and the ring is much to big. He hasn't gotten around to getting it resized yet.

I don't wear mine because my son flushed it down the toilet. I took it off to bathe my dog and forgot about it. A went to look for it a few hours later and after several minutes of frantic searching he admitted to flushing it.

I voted most of the time because I take it off when I shower and when I cook. Sometimes I forget to put it back on for a day or two but the majority of the time I have it on. So does dh.

I wear mine all the time. I only take it off to put on lotion.

Mine leaves my hand only when safety demands it (like when I am operating certain power tools). Other than that, its always on.

The wedding rign I wear was originally my father's wedding ring. He died 12 years before I got married and my mom kept the ring. She agreed to let me to let me have it for my wedding, so the wedding ring I wear has actually been a symbol of commitment for 2 successful marriages.

I wear mine all the time. DH even bought me a plain gold band in a bigger when I was pregnant and trying to shove my swollen digits into my rings. Now I wear that ring for every pregnancy. DH has gone through 4 wedding bands. He would take them off while he did work around the yard/house and when he played football or went to the gym. I hated that he woud not have his ring on at work. He works with lots of young teaching assistants and have a lot of singles moms hitting on him. Funny, it seems to have slowed down since he stopped wearing the ring!! :rotfl:

Since im a mechanic ,no, i only wear it when we go out to dinner or something like that.

It only comes off for lotion and meatloaf!

I do, however, wear it on my right hand. You'd be amazed at how strongly some people react to that. How could the possibly care that much about which hand my wedding ring is on?

The only time I remove my engagement or wedding ring is to clean it - which isn't very often!

actually when i take my wedding rings off there is an indention in my finger and its whiter since that part of my hand is always covered up. i feel naked without them.

All the time when I'm at work or out running errands, etc.

As soon as I walk in the door, all my jewelry comes off!

Never when I'm at home.......but I always wear my wedding ring or some other special ring on my ring finger when I leave the house. :teeth:

Me too! :)

I never wear it or any other jewelry. It's soooo a waste of money. I really wish I could trade it in for cash. We could go to Disney!

Never - DD was playing with it and lost it years ago.

DH isn't allowed to wear any jewelry, including a watch at work.

Doesn't bother me - I'm just as married with or without it. I've never been a big jewelry person, anyhow, always seem to get rings caught on things and end up ripping my fingers up. Terminally clumsy I am!

I do have my grandparents wedding bands - they were married 49 years, until death did them part, so they are extremely precious to me. Truth is I am afraid to wear them for fear of losing them - I am thinking of having a jeweler put a heart and jump ring on them to wear on a chain or charm bracelet.

24/7 Except when I'm cooking or perhaps yard work and such where it might get "snagged" or lost.

DW can't wear hers while working with patients so she safety pins them to her scrubs. Her colleagues and patients think it's cute. I think it's a grand thing!! :flower:

I wear mine 24/7, especially since DH upgraded it for our 10th anniversary. We were poor college kids when we married, and he'd always regretted not being able to afford a diamond. My original is still my favorite, but I'm turning it into a necklace to be passed on to DD some day.

DH wears his unless he has to go on the manufacturing floor at work. There's a work policy that no jewelry of any kind is allowed...too big of a risk for it getting caught and losing a finger.

We actually don't have rings. We had a very non traditional ceremony and decided to forgo the expensive rings and wedding parties for a good down payment on our dream house. Among my friends, I'm the only one who doesn't have a wedding ring. We are madly in love. Rings are nice, but we feel we don't need them.
