Do you have to give the flight schedule for ME?

I booked my package through AAA, the TA obviously did not know anything after free dinning basically I have to explain to him everything. Anyway, he called Disney while I was with him, and he asked me whether I needed shuttle, I told him no as I will always rent a car. However, after reading all the discussions on ME and the possibility of getting a cheaper rate from CCC, I asked him to add ME a few weeks after the initial reservation. Last week, he called me to pick up some luggage tags from AAA office, however, those luggage tags are AAA tags and obviously not the yellow tags as many of you posted. I called CRO on Sunday to find out whether my TA had requested it for me, but CRO told me that they can't pull out anything reserved by a TA and they normally ships the tags 3 weeks out and I should expect to recive it in about 3 to 5 business days, i.e. within this week.

From what I read, it seems that some people has already received the tags, I can call my TA to confirm assuming he understands what ME is, but do you have to provide your travel information, say flight schedule when you reserve your ME? I never told my TA about my flight schedule. I am concerned even if I call him again, he still does not understand about ME.

I am not worry about transportation as I already have a rental car from MCO, however, I like the benefit of not picking up the luggage and I may take the ME shuttle with my kids. I also understand that people have to go to the counter to identify their luggage, if I had to do this, I may as well pick up the luggage myself. BTW, I will be flying with SW.

thanks

Felicia

Yes! They need your flight information or how will they know to look for YOUR bags from what airline? Call your TA back to give info for them to inturn give to Disney or better still I would call Disney directly to confirm arrangements.

Thanks for the quick response, I will leave him a message, hopefully I can receive the ME on time.

One more note, in fact Disney does not take my message to order ME.
I called on Sunday just want to confirm whether my TA has ordered ME for me, but the CM refused to take the order. According to him, he could not open my reservation and told me that it won't work if he were to transfer me to another CM because they would not be able to open my reservation.

Disney can only work with the person/agency that originally made the booking. So, if AAA booked your trip, they will have to book DME, or make any changes. This is one reason I like to do it myself. I can call and check to see that things are the way I want to them to be. I have run into way too many TAs that are not up to speed on WDW or its workings.

YOu can still sign up when you reach MCO and go to the DME counter. You will have to provide a description of your luggage and they will transport it your resort. You will have to ride the bus to get the luggage transported.

If you give them the claim checks you received when you checked in your luggage at the home airport they can get your luggage.
