Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hi,
My daughter and son-in-law are in a different room that is not club level. We were upgraded. We are both at the contemporary. Does anyone have experience with being able to bring a guest or paying for one to access club level at the contemporary? Thanks!
We have frowned upon bring anyone to club level that does not have access to the CL even if you have CL. There was a what I would call a nasty tread months ago on this forum about this where someone brought up someone to CL and they were over staying their welcome I would say. A lot of us pay $300-500 more a day to have CL benefits so it not a nice thing to do. As a side note others have tried to sneak non guests to SAB in the past also which again takes up chairs etc… where again is who love YC/BC amenities get upset. Sorry but this as nice as I can be on this subject. These rules go across all CL’s Do some do this maybe and do they get away with it probably. Do I know what Lounge CM’s would do to the CL guests who violate the privilege, no I don’t not. Others who are veterans CL guests may know better than I. I know as a YC CL frequent quest would be upset and would definitely let the CM lounge manager know if I knew.

I just changed our plans and added them to our room!

Opinions on RPC vs Innkeeper's. Right now we are doing a split stay. ASMu on arrival day & moving over to GF Deluxe King Room.

When I do the math of the split stay vs all 5 nights at BWI in a Garden Room it's less than $300 difference with the discount we have. I keep trying for an extra night at GF but nothing so far.

Is 4 nights at RPC worth giving up a 5th night of CL?

Is this sometime through year end? I am not normally one to let resort construction influence my plans - I have a pretty high tolerance for that kind of stuff. But for me, I think with how relatively central/integral the lobby is for a Royal Palm Club stay, I'd have to think twice about GF right now. Or at least keep a really close eye on blog reports to know what's going on leading up to your trip. RPC tends to be so darn expensive, the possible negatives of any noise or visual nuisance would probably influence me, personally.

Also my personal bias, I think these boards and the "flagship resort" narrative associated with the Grand can sometimes overhype RPC more than is deserved. Is it a nice CL? For sure. The recent renovations were great and everything is nice/bright/clean. But on some level it's just a CL like everywhere else, CMs are sometimes helpful, sometimes not, the guest count is relatively high there so lounge conditions can be busy (although lots of room to spread out/find tables), the food options are directionally the same as everywhere else. Sorry to be a little negative - my brain is guilty of letting RPC get overhyped in my head, and when we leave we sometimes find ourselves questioning if it was really worth it.

So I think I vote more BWI time.

Our trip is the 9/1-9/6 so I've been keeping a close eye on the construction. I appreciate your feedback!

BWI holds a special place in our hearts. I do like the idea of having CL the entire stay but I also like the idea of watching MK fireworks from our balcony.
