Do you ever stay long enough to where you feel done?

10 days is about my max. I'm not necessarily done to the point where I couldn't possibly find anything else to do, but I'm mentally done with the crowds and the walking and ready to be home with all my creature comforts. By that point, we've done all our must dos more than once. There is always other things I could add on, but they aren't anything high enough of a priority that I ever carve out time for them.

I am thinking of dropping my seven day trips down to six days - going Sunday to Saturday instead of Saturday to Saturday.

I’m noticing I don’t do much on the last full day of my trip. This year, I just hung out at the resort.

Our longest stay was 12 nights and we weren't ready to go home at all. As mentioned above, my wallet told me it was time to end the trip. lol.

But just be aware that sometimes that IS a vacation-hang around the resort, lie by the pool, sit on the balcony with a beverage. If that's not your idea of a vacation, though,I can understand why you'd want to go home. Just reminding you, so you won't feel guilty and feel like you have to go home.

We did a 10 night stay back in December. Part of me was done by Day #3. It wasn't because there was nothing left to do. It had more to do with not getting to do the things I wanted to do because the couple we were with had other ideas. Having been to Disney so many times in the past and knowing that I would go again, I gave in to their expectations. But it was really disappointing to miss fireworks, parades and resort Christmas decorations because they were more interested in lounges, shopping and dining all while expecting me to act as their personal tour guide.

For international guests it’s very common to have long stays, we have done minimum of 14 days since about 2012, not been every year though!
I get all school holidays off, 12 weeks a year and DH gets 41 days annual leave per year so still plenty of time for other trips

We don’t feel like we are done, it’s more we mix up other parks, shopping, activities after a few park days. We also love split stays BWV/AKV/VGF this year which can feel like a new holiday

Right around 2 weeks is where it normally kicks in. Typically right at the end around 12-14 days its like "well I did everything I wanted" and you are at that point just up in the air.

I will say though even if you do a trip around a week you will likely feel it on that as well unless you do no planning. When we plan though we have our list of everything we need to do. On a 7 day trip we are more go getters while on the long trips you can really relax and take things slowly extending your larger list out longer.

We have a 14 park days and plan on getting LLMP most of the trip. We will see how that works. I am excited for LLMP because I am not a fan of standing in lines for a long time and we found not doing the rope drops was nicer as well. So we are dropping sit-downs mostly this time in exchange for LLMP.

I’ll hit WDW about 6 times and cruises or other trips the rest! Goal is almost every month!!!

That is how I do it - DCL cruise or a WDW stay or both every month, and most of those are 2-4 nights each. I like the bite size experiences because they tend to keep us interested in the next month's adventures.

Almost all the long trips I've been on have left me happy to be back home. But that's not to say that I thought it was "enough". Sometimes you just like to be in your own space.

This. There's no place like home!
