But just be aware that sometimes that IS a vacation-hang around the resort, lie by the pool, sit on the balcony with a beverage. If that's not your idea of a vacation, though,I can understand why you'd want to go home. Just reminding you, so you won't feel guilty and feel like you have to go home.I’m noticing I don’t do much on the last full day of my trip. This year, I just hung out at the resort.
I’ll hit WDW about 6 times and cruises or other trips the rest! Goal is almost every month!!!
Almost all the long trips I've been on have left me happy to be back home. But that's not to say that I thought it was "enough". Sometimes you just like to be in your own space.
Longest DVC Stay - 63 Nights (Split over5 Resorts - HHI/BWV/VB/AKV/SSR)Do you ever stay long enough that you feel like you're done when you leave? I don't mean feeling like you need to go home because you have to tend to work, school, family, etc. I mean you've experienced everything that you wanted to experience and you feel like your vacation is over. If you have had that experience, was it after a certain number of nights or a certain number of overall visits?
Yeah, it is totally different for the rest of the world that does not have a culture of “ why do you need more than 2 weeks off a year” and “ how are we going to get in touch with you while you are away”For international guests it’s very common to have long stays, we have done minimum of 14 days since about 2012, not been every year though!
I get all school holidays off, 12 weeks a year and DH gets 41 days annual leave per year so still plenty of time for other trips
We don’t feel like we are done, it’s more we mix up other parks, shopping, activities after a few park days. We also love split stays BWV/AKV/VGF this year which can feel like a new holiday
