my kids are all in the girls room listening to a Nick Jr Tape and I can hear them dancing and playing with each other I know theyre trashing the room I just worked so to clean up, I vaccumed and shampooed the carpet in there today too. I really worked hard to clean it. I know Its now trashed BUT I also know that these moments are fleeting, that they dont always enjoy each other like this and the time will come when they dont want to even be seen together.

I know that if I actually go IN the room I will spoil all the fun and it will be over.

I can always clean up again tomorrow.

I remember when my son's allergist told me I had to throw away all the stuffed animals in the house. After I bagged them all, DS and DD decided to take them out of the bags and play zoo. They played together for about 3 hours that day, really enjoying each others company. That was about 4 years ago and I don't think they have spent that much time together since. The moments pass too quickly......enjoy the mess they are making.
