It depends. In the wintertime, many times I usually do change right into the ol' pj's. But not in the summer. (But then again, I have summers off ) There's something totally delicious about getting out of the restricting office garb, putting on the comfy pj's and settling in for the night.
What a hoot!! My family teases me because I am in my pj's right after dinner, which usually ends at 6:30. I love it!! I've been know to get in them even earlier on Sundays...lol...that's my day of rest!
I don't wear PJ's. I wear gowns. And I put it on late at night when I'm done running around doing housework. I get home around 3 most of the time. That's too early to put on my gown.
In my Mickey sleeping Shorts as soon as possible after I get home. I work 12 hour shifts though so by the time I get home it usually IS bedtime.
However on my days off if I don't have to go out it's PJ's and a robe and slippers. And even if I do go out sometimes I go out in them LOL.
A few weeks ago I drove DD to School (she is 17) I was listening to Journey cranked on the stereo as we pulled up to the curb at school. She reached over and turned the music down as she got ready to get out of the van. I looked at her and asked "Does listening to that music embarass you?" to which she replied "YES!" I said if you really want to be embarrassed I will walk you to the door! LOL... It was below 0 degrees and I was wearing my Mickey PJ shorts, covered only by my bath robe and wearing my slippers. She giggled...and got out of the van quickly as I cranked the music back up...
I generally sleep in sweats and a t-shirt, so I usually put them on right when I get home and even if somebody were to come over they wouldn't know the difference!
OK, I sleep in sweat pants and sweatshirt in the winter. Sometimes, I drive the kids to school like this (not if I get out of the van tho) and, in the summer, I sleep in t-shirts and shorts so, who knows if they're my PJ's or not?
Lord knows, the things the kids wear to school these days ARE considered sleep pants, etc!!
I much prefer comfy over 'appearances' for myself, anyway!
