do you carry bottles of water to the parks?

We bring refillable water bottles (WalMart has some with belt clips) and pour the CS ice water into them throughout the day. You don't need to wait in line- just order an extra cup of ice water when you get food and pour it in your bottle, with any extra ice if you also had a soda.
Our last two trips were in August and September and this worked great.

I bring a bottle of bottled water from Publix or wherever. I have bottled water with me all the time at home and WDW is no different.

If I'm out, I'll refill at CS so long as I don't have to wait in a long CS line to do it. If lots of waiting is involved, I'll break down and pay WDW prices for water.

We are the same. We bring a bottle of water into the park with us. If we stop for a meal or snack, we get water from the CS. And I buy water in the park too.

My son loves water. He doesn't drink pop and rarely drinks juice. Water is his favorite beverage. In restaurants, servers will tell me, his kids meal comes with a drink - I always say - he loves water. But it has to be cold water so I make sure he has cold water.

We carry a Brita water bottle with us. We just fill it from the water fountains or water from CS places. I don't want to be weighted down with a bunch of water. I would also think the water would get hot in the Florida heat.

Where did you buy a brita water bottle? I have been searching for one for months!!! Does it have a filter?

I usually carry a bottle in, doesn't last long. I leave some in a cooler in the car for the ride home.

We carry a water bottle and refill it when necessary with free water from the counter service locations. My daughter gets dehyrdated easily so I have to remind her to take sips of water often.

I've never had the need nor ambition to carry a bottle of water......fountains suit me fine. We never purchased any for the resort room either...again....the water at the resort is also fine. We're not bottled water people, we're not going to go thirsty in a park in a day either. The person who started this craze is making a ton of money but not from us, free water is everywhere.

If you worked in a school where the kids AND many parents put their mouth on the spout you would not be drinking out of water fountains.

OR - if you read the thread about the parents that were washing off baby's bottom in the drinking fountain!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

We take a stainless refillable bottle (I refuse to buy plastic water bottles anymore unless there is absolutely no other choice)...works well - our dd6 is constantly thirsty so it's nice to be able to have a drink while we're waiting in line or wherever...

:thumbsup2

I can't be bothered to lug around heavy water bottles all day. We get a drink with lunch at the park, a large coke or ice tea or lemonade, and get a free ice water at a CS restaurant if we need to. We don't get cases of water for our room either, the refillable mugs are fine. And I'm sure that we all get at least our 64 oz. of liquids every day. ;)

We did once...what a waste. they were a pain to lug around and the water was warm wth in an hour...and hot with in 3. We ended up tossing them because they were a nuesence.

I'm one of those weirdos who wears a camelbak. That bag also serves as our carry everything else bag, so it works out. It's all insulated, so it stays cool. We buy several gallon jugs of water at the grocery store, then use those to fill up the bladder half. Toss in a couple Propel packets for the electrolytes, and freeze or chill in the fridge. In the morning, we fill it the rest of the way up and we're good to go for most of the day.

We stay off-site and freeze 16.9 oz. bottles the night before. Before our last trip I sewed insulated water bottles with straps and both of my children (age 7 & 9) carried their own bottles every day. The insulation kept the water cold prevented the condensation from dripping on them. We refilled bottles as needed throughout the day and I kept Crystal Light packets in my bag to flavor things up. It was very convenient to be able to take a sip of water while standing in line. Before we left home we tried the carabiner clips but my kids found them cumbersome. Cross shoulder straps worked best for us, and they didn't carry anything else so there was no whining. :)

We always get water from CS places. They are so generous- large cups with lots of ice :thumbsup2
