You have to hear my story!!!!
I didn't sleep well last night and my stomach was not happy this morning. I would have been fine at work, but decided to call in sick and just take it easy today.
At about 9:30, I was in bed watching tv when I heard rushing water. I looked over and the seam on our fishtank had suddenly come apart and 35 GALLONS OF WATER WERE POURING ALL OVER MY BEDROOM!!!! I tried to stop it by holding a towel against the seam.. .it proceeded to rush out FASTER!!! I was hysterical and ran around like an idiot for a couple of minutes.... water still POURING all over my bedroom!
FINALLY, I calmed down enough to grab some buckets and other containers and set up a system to catch the water. I'd say about 10 gallons went onto the floor, and I caught the rest. I;ve used every towel, blanket, chamois, and piece of dirty clothing I own to catch the drips and sop up what was in the carpet. I think I saved most of my dear fish.
Can you imagine if I had not been home today???????????
There would have been some SERIOUS water damage to my downstairs neighbor, fines and damage costs up the wazoo, and my fish would have been dead!!
I do truly belive that some things happen for a reason!
