Cute outfit, Rochelle :thumbsup2

Any of the Washington ladies ever been to Semiahmoo Resort or Tulalip Resort? We're thinking of going to either one soon for a weekend away and I'm not sure which would be a better choice :confused3

I have been to both. Both are gorgeous!

Semiahoo is pretty much just a resort with a spa, good resturant, and birch bay is near there, a few resturants/bars. It would be a relaxing type getaway.

Tulalip is a casino with a spa, and the big outlet center is right there.

Both have very nice rooms I like both, just depends if you want to veg out and not do too much, or if you want to do some gambling, shows, and shopping.

Let me know if you have questions

Drive by hi!! Busy studying for my exam tonight. Hope it goes well. I'll try and catch up afterward :shamrock: Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I like Tulalip just because there is more to do. I also like it since I can go play bingo........ In the summer they have concerts in the amphitheatre. Also the outlet malls are close.

Top of the day ladies!

I read as fast as I could to catch up.

Jess, Hugs for you.

Cheryl, that frosting sounds delish!

Laurie, Happy Anni and a big birthday wish for Anthony!

Love the green toilet water. May do that, just before my grandsons get here.

Sherri, what is an Irish margarita? LOL!

Say it out loud it is supposed to sound like I wish I had a margarita just a really old joke LOL but hey they are green after all!I forgot to add that I am making soda bread too. I'm trying Ina Garten's recipe. :thumbsup2

Here is the really hard glaze to make for the beef. LOL! Not really. After the beef has boiled with the veges, I take it out and rub it with prepared mustard on top. Then liberally sprinkle brown sugar, and a dash of cloves. Cook at 350* for about 15 20 minutes. Thinly slice and arrange on platter, with veges all around and smothered in butter. :goodvibes

Gotta run! :dance3:

Thanks for the really easy glaze LOL there are just 100s of ways to do mustard & BS so we shall be trying this today.

The green eggs and ham were fun as always...Colton ran around saying "Ewww disgusting I am not going to eat that green eggs are not normal what were you thinking? and then took his first bite and said "WOW these are delicious! I do like green eggs & ham!"

Play practice went really well today they are starting to get it maybe we won't have a total disaster after all. Sets are 90% finished and the caterer for the dinner theatre night was there today and that all looks ready to go. So here goes the countdown T-4 days and counting...It will be so nice when it is done.

I am also going to do the R&R 1/2 in Las Angeles in October and hope fully the 1/2 in Las Vegas in December! That one's at night and you get to run the Strip.

That sounds good! Who makes it and where can I find it?
If you run the Vegas one, I'll come out to cheer you on!! :cheer2:

The ice cream is a new flavor, it's a store brand though believe it or not. It's Kroger which is sold at Smith's out here. Not sure if you have Smith's stores in CA or what store sells Kroger for you. It's in a black fancy sort of packaging.

Carmel is my downfall, complete downfall, what brand was this?
See above. :thumbsup2

:rotfl: :rolleyes1

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! I already have the corned beef/potatoes/carrots in the slow cooker.:)
Save me some! I'm on my way over. :cool1:

Beth Uh NO! On the pink Panties!!:sad2: LOL That guy just kills me And did anyone notice that when they list his so called former career there is a question mark behind it LOL. I think even the show is onto this guy!!
LOL I don't think I ever noticed that. I'll have to check it out next time.

OK so my DH did the toilet bowl again just now. Colton saw it again and said "The leprachaun is still in the house! Darn Leprachauns don't they know how to flush!" He is currently searching for the little guy under my bed. Now this reaction was better :thumbsup2
:rotfl: Cute!!

Beth- That's so cool that your DH took the day off :) I hope you have a fun day! :goodvibes
Thanks. We had a great day! I had a gift certificate for a make-up store in the shops at Caesars Palace (Inglot) so I went and used that. Then we got some Mexican food for lunch (La Salsa, half off for locals!) and used our free tickets to the Mac King show at Harrahs. It was nice, not too expensive, and a fun surprise.

I forgot to add that I am making soda bread too. I'm trying Ina Garten's recipe. :thumbsup2
Sounds like tonight is going to be a real feast! Enjoy!! :)

I got a package today!! :yay:

Thank you so much Trudi and Sarah for my package of Meet and Greet goodies!!  It was so sweet of you to think of me and opening that almost made me feel like I'd been there. :goodvibes
I missed you both very much, and can't wait to see you both again!

Awww, that was so sweet of Trudi & Sarah to send you that.
Those treats all look very familiar!;)

Hope everyone has a terrific evening.

When I was pregnant with Maddie I used to dip my Wendy's fries in my chocolate frosty. Yep. It's good!:thumbsup2

Yum!!! I do this too! My favorite is getting a Rachel's Black and White from Leatherbys and dipping their hot fries in that.

I want to try and plan a pasta dinner the night before the race. My mom's coming with me (and my aunt who is running with me), Jessica will be there as well as Wendy and Jen and Rochelle will probably meet up with us too.

Any one else is welcome too. :goodvibes We will be there Saturday morning - Monday. I booked us for 2 nights at the Paradise Pier! I'm excited because I've never stayed at a Disney hotel before. We will be in the parks Saturday and Sunday. On Monday I want to do the character Breakfast at PP. I've never done one.

Jen, I think you said you are doing the Rock & Roll Marathon in San Diego this June? :confused3 If there's still room next Friday I'm going to sign up for the Half. I am also going to do the R&R 1/2 in Las Angeles in October and hope fully the 1/2 in Las Vegas in December! That one's at night and you get to run the Strip.
Awesome! I am doing the rock n roll in SD :) We will chat.... :goodvibes

Love it!

Happy St. Patricks Day Diva's and Happy Anniversary Laurie!

 We have Fred Meyer which is Kroeger, I bet they have it, I am so going there tonight

:rotfl2: I loved the toilet bowl green Leprechaun story so much I did it right when I got home, I thought the DBF would fall for it :lmao:

He just came out and asked if I was sick or something, I said no why and he said why is the toilet all green and I laughed, I could not keep a straight face, and I said a lil' leprechaun must have visited us. :lmao::lmao:

Brooke has 2 teeth now! She is chewing away with those little chompers.

Speaking of mini meets, I would like to try again for a Pacific Northwest meet this summer. I am thinking about attending this event and maybe anyone interested could come and we could make a weekend out if it.

http://www.pnwmousemeet.com/

Aggkk!! The one day of the summer I am already booked! I am a matron of honor in my best friends wedding that day! If a different day is decided for a NW meet let me know as I would love to do that!

Hope everyone had a good St. Patricks day!

Thanks for the info - I think we'll go with Tulalip :thumbsup2 Relaxing is good for a little bit, but I do luvs me some outlet mall shopping :rolleyes1 I'm not really a gambler, but I could play the slots for a little bit. I'll check and see what shows they have. I hear the restaurants are quite good - any particularly great ones there??

Hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day! Corned beef was eaten, along with red potatoes. Had an uber tasty cabernet sauvignon with it too. We'll be out of town this weekend, DH's best friend turned 50 today, so we are going to their place for the weekend. He doesn't know we are coming. They live about 3 hours away.

Hope you all had a great St Patrick's Day!
