I posted this on the front page. It's not set in stone of course, but I figured we needed to start somewhere. If anyone has any problems with it, or any other suggestions, as always please feel free to speak up.


**Shirt colors: (suggested order)
Thursday: Lime green shirt

Friday: Purple castle shirt (last year's group tee)

Saturday: New group t-shirt (teal color with retro Disneyland sign)

Sunday: Pink shirt

Monday: Blue shirt?

Good morning girls!

Its going to be a beautiful day out. I love summer!!

I think I may attempt to make my own version of the purple tee. I dont want to add more work onto Mel.

I am going to have to be sneaky sneaky about this trip. Maddie will be devastated if she knew. However, she doesn't know about the WDW trip. It's a surprise hopefully I can pull it off.

Well, she might not have a problem doing them. I don't know how involved they were. If they were just iron-on transfers, maybe she can post the pattern or whatever they used so people can do their own? I am like the anti-crafty person so I don't know the first thing about it. Luckily we have time to figure it all out.



And Mel, when/if you read this, just wanted to say we are all still thinking of you, and miss you!

I need to rustle up the thread where the graphic was posted. Its pretty easy to iron it on. However, the challenge for me is getting it on straight. I will buy some bling and make it look purty.

I am really wanting to stay in GC. Would anyone want to room with me to bring the cost down?

I would LOVE to stay at the GCH. I also loved my stay at the PPH a few weeks ago and would stay there again if anyone was interested.


I've been missing for a few weeks. I was at Disneyland for my Birthday. I unfortunately have to send my laptop in for repair so will be missing again for about a week but hopefully will be back in participating soon!

Do we have a day and time yet? I'd like to start adding a few details to the schedule on the front page.

Meet and Greet committee: Have you looked into where your going to hold the party? Will it be at the Carousel conference room again? If so, will they be offering another deal on hotel rooms?


Also what day did y'all do the BBQ last time? And how did that work out for the group?

It's my monthly Disboard check in sheesh...whats up with that?? I just can't seem to add more hours to my day. I keep waiting for things to slow down now that school is out...hopefully soon.

Better late then never...I loved the M&G at the Carousel. It was roomier and had a fun atmosphere with all the windows and such.

I loved the BBQ last year also and would love to do that again.

Love all the Tshirt ideas mentioned already and will work with whatever is decided Really looking foward to the Retro sign shirt.

Is there a post that lists what night everybody is going to the Halloween party in Oct?

I have a list on the front page of who's going to be there in October and what their dates are. I do not have party dates listed, but I can say for myself, Cheryl, Linda, Deb, and I think most everyone who's going to be there the weekend of 10/21 - 10/23, that we are going to the party on Friday the 21st.

Hi Jill! I hope you are up for a Company D run this trip because I am bringing an extra empty suitcase this time.

Beth - Yay for "starting somewhere"! 8 months from this minute I plan to be wearing my lime green shirt and eating lunch with early arrivers at ?? (maybe Hungry Bear this time?)

The meeting at the employment agency went okay this morning. The company is already interviewing a few people for this particular position so I will see next week if they are taking more interviews. I'm not really in a hurry and would actually prefer to take a few weeks off and not start a new job until September but can't be too picky - if something good comes up now I will thankfully take it considering I may be setting myself up for months of unemployment.

Okay, I'm just going to say, if this is done again, then this time I want in!
I didn't go the first time, and wasn't there last time, so I have never been.

I might not make it for the entire trip though. Ruben's work schedule is going to be changing at some point in the next few months so until then things are a bit up in the air for me. I will be there, but I might only be able to stay until Friday or Sat.

So if we do Co D, can we pretty please do it on a day that I'd make it? Like maybe Friday?

I'll be there for Labor Day weekend (probably wont be going to the parks), and I was going to do the Tinker Bell half, but it's just not going to happen for me if there's any hope of me going on the Girls Only trip.
