Please keep the family of the child who drowned at AOA yesterday in your prayers.

As some of you know, we had a near drowning in our pool at my son's graduation party last year. It still haunts me. I can't even read the thread on the attractions board, as so many are quick to blame and judge. Believe me, it can happen in an instant.

Oh, how horrible. We had a close call with our son at the beach over the Fourth of July weekend. I can't imagine how the family must be feeling.

I was looking at the menu for BOG breakfast and it looks like it's prix fixe and $19.99 per person (in other words, not letting you share a meal with a family member). Did it change to QS where not everyone must order an entree? If so, I'd be interested in going there...

I though the same thing at first but now realize we can maybe share two meals for the four of us and/or take food with us for snacks later. We don't eat very much early in the morning!! Considering that seems like the cheapest way to get into the park before it opens!

Good evening! Hope all of you are doing well. Been lurking a bit the past few weeks so decided to sign up tonight. I'm amazed at how much info is on the disboards. Have had several trips to Disney over the years and never knew it existed till I saw someone post about it on a facebook Disney page. Looking forward to going back home in November for ten days. I saw this on FB this morning. Drownings are one big reason I hate being a nurse in the summer. It breaks my heart, and is the reason we don't have a pool. Bad experiences like the one you've experienced stay with you. Those who judge...I just can't deal. Accidents happen, they are tragic and the only thing to do is pray or the family. My prayers are with that family.

Truly magical. I'm trying to imagine. This morning while walking into my bland office building, I soaked in the sun and thought how similar it will be after we arrive at BC!

Hmmm. I would consider sharing a meal, but I didn't think we could. The dinner and lunch menus just don't appeal to us, but I think it would be neat to have a meal there.

Thanks for sharing some of the "issues" you are having with this trip. You have a lot of sympathetic ears here and your attitude seems great. Glad you are plowing through and from the sounds of it, planning a spectacular trip! Great itinerary and fantastic special plans. The VIP tours sound wonderful!

(BTW- if by some miracle your SIL DOES back out and you need someone to fill her spot...)

I will be finishing up a trip to the Hard Rock with family and then solo with friends at the Beach Club as your trip is beginning.

I know so many people who heard the plan for my dad's trip and want to go. but I guess it would be like paying for a wine tasting trip and forcing me to go...I don't drink...and I would be unhappy. I really am trying to see her point of view..ah..I can't ...hehe.
