I apologize that I am not able to visit here often. Life circumstances have made it difficult for me to find the time for upkeep on this thread. With the help of @disneyfan150, I'm trying to maintain the Be Our Guest list.

What is going on with pictures? It looks like the images I have uploaded throughout the years using Photobucket are no longer linking. Is this a Photobucket issue, a DISBoards change or something else? I believe I have continued to keep my Photobucket account paid yearly so that the images would remain here.

Looks like this is not the only thread with red Xs through photos on its Page 1.
All Star Movies thread has the same thing going on.
So does the Swan & Dolphin thread.

But other threads seem to be fine. I don't know if they are using something other than Photobucket to host their photos.

This is a view from my AP rate standard room at BC:


From our balcony, and we like it a lot. Most noise we hear are people loud in the hallways. And why are at 7 am or at 2 am.

And we are one and done for Beaches and Cream. Cancelled our reservation for it in our September trip. Sad to say, as thought I had fond memories of it when my kids were much younger.

Weather has been fabulously hot.

It would be on the monthly resort recreation schedule. Check the sticky. I think they have it at boardwalk and i don't know if you have to prove you are staying there.

I think they still have yoga on the beach on Friday mornings. But I would check the rec schedule first.

So excited, thanks to a great AP rate, I'll be back at my beloved YC on Sept. 3 thru 9. I've been staying mostly at Swan/Dolphin but YC has always been my heart.

Has anyone ever had any luck getting a cabana close to your trip or day of? Is there a cancellation policy that would make x days before we were hoping to get one a good time to call back? I am kicking myself I called 1 day early not realizing it and then it totally slipped my mind

There is only a 24 hour cancellation policy so not much advance notice to work with here. A Cabana may pop any day or time. Worst case is just to keep checking randomly up to the actual day you want to reserve a Cabana.

Here now and wondering if anybody has any idea the extent of the refresh that will happen at Yacht Club. Will the hallways and the walkways that lead from the lobby to yachtsman steakhouse be updated to look more like the lobby itself? What about the rooms? Any interest what’s going to happen there?

We just returned a week ago from a 2 week stay. Was working fine the entire time.

The Yacht Club is getting a refresh?

Yes changes are coming to the YC in 2025 as Disney states: From January through May 2025, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be under refurbishment. While Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours, most Resort hotel amenities will remain available ( Except Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool ).

Note: From January 2025 through June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
