I thought all rooms had balconies as well. We are in a 1BR villa in October. Do you know if they all have balconies?

There is a difference between the BC and the DVC BCV. All the DVC Villas have a balcony or a patio (1st floor only).

I tried to use the search bar .for the answer Can I have a Walmart + grocery delivery made to bell services at the Yacht Club ? I already have the service and would rather not pay extra fees. Thank you in advance! I has been 4 years since our last trip to YC. We absolutley love it there!

We haven’t used Walmart specifically but bell services has always accepted & held our grocery orders workout a problem. You can either pick them up yourself or they will deliver to your room if you call down.

Yelp there are only about ~50% of the BC rooms with a Full balcony. You are able to make up to 3 Requests. Start with a Full balcony as your first request. You can try the Disney Chat but I always call reservations at (407) 939-5277 and update my reservation with any requests.


Make 2 Queen beds your Second request. Unless you have more than 3 guests listed on your reservation.

Now is a good time to make your request(s) and then in a week call reservations and ask about notes that are on your reservation. The updated reservation needs to be complete at the 10 day mark.

This allows time for the room assigners to plan the room assignments usually at the 5-7 day mark pre arrival.

As of Saturday when we left, hours were 10-11 and we saw people lining up as early as 8/8:30 to get in.

Has anyone booked a cabana for any day between Oct 1-8? I tried booking this morning and they said they hadn't loaded them in the system yet, which has happened before, but usually when I call back around 9 they have been loaded, but today they're still not showing availability. Wondering if they really are booked through 60+10 already.

Yes. It is 3-acres in size so naturally there is going to be a maximum occupancy that WDW will allow into the pool area.

Yes. During COVID, there was restrictions on guest occupancy and guests were denied access. I know because my family was one of the last groups allowed in when we visited BC, before CMs said the pool was at "capacity" due to reduced capacity restrictions.

Because the COVID restrictions are no longer in place and YC/BC will not likely be at 100% occupancy and not 100% of hotel guests will be at the pool at the same time and that the pool area is 3-acres, I do not believe you should worry about pool capacity limits.

It was crazy busy. We preferred to go in the evening, when it wasn’t quite as busy and the pavement wasn’t as hot, and we still had to do a bit of searching to find free chairs.

I definitely threw towels off of chairs when I couldn’t find any free chairs because people were definitely saving chairs and then leaving. (I did check with the people sitting in the adjacent chairs and they hadn’t seen anyone in those chairs for the hour they’d been there, so I had zero qualms about moving the towels and claiming the chairs for us.)

Question for any one that is at the BC or has been recently. I just noticed a change to the marketplace menu and that they have a pepperoni flatbread, meatball subs and Italian grinders. Can anyone speak about the quality of those items. We will be at the Villas and like to have a pool day or two but really dislike the Marketplace menu. So I was pleasantly surprised to see something new or brought back. Any insight would be great.

Just returned and had another lovely stay at YC.

I wanted to share that our water view room had these nautical panels on the balcony and they partially blocked the view when sitting down. Sharing since I had never noticed these before and they may influence your decision to book GV or WV. It was a good view and you could people watch guests going and coming from the dock. It was also a bit enclosed which helped with the heat.

Hey all, stayed at Beach Club earlier this year and loved it, trying out Yacht Club in September. Have a resort view. Would like to be as close to the lobby as possible. Am I best to book a ground level room, or are the rooms on 2nd floor, 3rd floor, etc, closer? (obviously with an elevator ride included, or stairs)
