Sorry but there is no match for a King room on the ground floor. They are only on floors 3 - 6 and all overlook the upper courtyard or lower courtyard and pool area. There are about 7 rooms that overlook the pool, geyser, and Bay Lake in the distance.

These 7 rooms are also near the elevator in the wing section that opens across the hall from Roaring Fork on the Ground floor. Room numbers are 5035, 5037, 5039, 5041, and 6035, 6037, 6041.

Also the WL has a unique offering where you may have the option to add Club Level access at the Front desk when you check-in. It is $149 per night and you must add it to your lenght of stay. You can't add this option in advance since there is a limit availability.

Thanks for the info. We have the dining plan, so I don’t really see us needing Club Level Access? Although it might cool to try! I guess we won’t be getting a ground level room. Didn’t know there weren’t any king rooms there, lol!

Do I need quarters for the laundry?

We are arriving late... I assume it's best to just do online check in? We are about two weeks out. I don't know if I should just do the online check in now.

I did laundry when we were there in February and you need to download an app in order to use the machines. Bring your smartphone and a credit card when you go to the laundry room. I found it to be very annoying to use this system in order to use the machines.

Is the $149 per night for the whole room or per person, and is that the current verified rate? I'm sure the standard tax applies too, 6.5% if I recall correctly.

It is $149 per room per night for your length stay. Yes tax is additional and it was last confirmed at the end of April.

Nothing really. The Old Faithful Club (CL) is on the 7th floor of the main lodge. The rooms are the same size a regular rooms but they have a Dormer balcony. A roof overhang and a half wall around the balcony. So you would need to stand to see most things. You do get Robes and Slippers. You can't keep the robes but the slippers are yours to keep.

You also have the CL lounge for Breakfast, Afternoon snacks, and evening hors d'oeuvre, drinks and cordials with desserts.

I’d never stay club level if I planned on going to the parks. I stayed club level at Contemporary and felt guilty going to Magic Kingdom.

For resort-only trips, it’s worth it to me.

I’m not sure what time the boats start, but the buses will start about one hour before posted early entry time for resort guests.

I just had a chat with Disneyworld on this. They said it can change daily. On the 21st I was told it is running 7:30 am til 1:30 am.

We found that the boats start running to MK about one hour before early hours park opening. There is usually a boat waiting when you get to the dock, with a second boat close behind for the next load. The boat is better than the bus because you have bag check on the MK dock and park entry straight ahead. And it is more fun than a bus, too.

Most of the resorts have replaced the refrigerators with beverage coolers. They still get really cold but they don't have freezers.
