For those that have used Magical Express, how long did it take to receive luggage after checking in at the resort?

It's supposed to arrive within 3-4 hours of when you check in.

It took several hours for us last September, close to 3 hours. I remember because we had wanted to head down to the pool and waited a long time.

This is the first time I've heard of anyone getting it that fast; you must be extremely lucky.

For Magical Express deliveries (only, this does not apply to regular Bell Services) they can bring your bags to your room even when you are not in the room. But remember to pack a few essentials in your carry-on luggage to allow for any delays (a swim suit might be a good idea, plus any required medications, etc).

I've had various experiences with luggage delivery - anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to almost 4 hours.

Very excited to be staying here in about 2 months. It's just for a night but still looking forward to it. DH and I stayed at riverside for our honeymoon. This will be a new experience with our DD 3. Thanks for all the information.

Can anyone confirm if there are off menu items for vegetarians at sassagoula float works? The dinner menu looks like there's nothing.

Hi Andre, we had other things we needed, just didn't realize it would be that long for our suits, since our previous stay (different resort and later arrival) had a faster delivery. We'll definitely be packing them in our carry-ons this year .

Apart from the bakery items, pizzas, pasta and salads you mean (all of which can be customised)? There are also fruits and other grab'n'go items.

As a fellow veggie I have to say our choices are extremely lacking. I love POFQ but I rarely eat there except for breakfast because Sassagoula offers no choice of hot, vegetarian items.

All I can think of was cheese pizza, pasta with marinara, salad, and they will do a veggie plate from the hot food line but not sure if some items could have broth but they had green beans, corn, collards, mashed potatoes, corn bread, Mac and cheese, and red beans and rice POR is a short walk or. Oat ride and many more options.

As a fellow veggie I have to say our choices are extremely lacking. I love POFQ but I rarely eat there except for breakfast because Sassagoula offers no choice of hot, vegetarian items.

I get it a bit easier as I eat fish and shellfish, although I don't eat meat. What I have found is that they are very accommodating if you are a "three sides are a main" type of veggie I've had some lovely dinners there made up of the sides and they really piled the food onto the platter for me. DD and I also successfully share a few bounty platters at breakfast every year and despite the CM's at the serving station asking us to repeat our order (it's really funny) they happily serve us up a platter with no bacon, eggs or sausages, subbing fruit/waffles/pancakes and extra potatoes.

It doesn't solve the selection problem for some, but it does give extra options if you know you can ask for deviations from the listed menu item.

Made the final payment on our trip this week! Only 42 days until our first stay at POFQ. Excited to surprise my DD and DSIL, because they think we are staying at POP. I cannot wait!

Checking into POFQ on Sunday for a night and then possibly again from the 9th-11th! My cousins are also staying from the 4th-11th! Hoping for building 5 or 2..it's their first visit with a 2 yr old and 5 yr old!

Just curious about the beds/bedding. I've stayed at CSR, CBR, AoA, WL, and Kidani Village between Jan and now and they all now have the white sheet cover with a decorative cloth at the end of the bed…does POFQ have this now as well??

Great question! I really, really hope so. Those comforters Disney picks for their resorts are Gd awful...

Does anyone know if you can use your RFID mug at POR if you are staying at POFQ? The food court looks like it has more choices.

I always ask about the broth used and it has stopped me from eating there innumerous times. I do walk to POR for the make your own salad/pasta.

so the make your own pasta is my favorite CS on property...I crave it and POR is always my choice for a resort. However, we are a POFQ this year! I'll be making a hike or taking a ride on the water taxi!
