Hello - Looking to have diapers and wipes shipped via Amazon to POP...what is the best way to do this?

We are going to use prime now for groceries but we have a standard room only for our first night and then moving to a preferred room the second day so I don't really want to have to carry all the groceries when we switch rooms but I will need the diapers and wiped for the first 1.5 days!

Is it fairly easy to get a taxi at Pop? Are they just "ready and waiting" out front? I would be looking on a Tuesday morning approx. 8 am and would be taking it to the Fort Wilderness Campground--just curious if I should be prepared to wait/call ahead, or if there are typically cabs waiting. Thanks!

Ask the Concierge desk to get one for you. One should be out front in 5 minutes.

We have friends going down the same dates as us but they are staying offsite - are they able to drive over and visit us at Pop? We were thinking about taking a bus to Disney springs for a few hours, so they would be parking their car for the afternoon. Is that allowed? We've never had a car on disney property so I'm not sure how that works!

Yup. They should tell the guard that they are visiting you and should be prepared to show ID.

Hi everyone DH and are considering a trip to WDW in April, and if so we would likely be staying at POP. I’m familiar with the resort in a general sense, but I’m just now starting to look into in more detail to prepare. My main concern is space in the rooms (old or newly renovated). We have only ever stayed at POFQ, and we have 2 ECVs. No problems fitting them in to charge at night there. But I’m not sure about how that will go at Pop. I’d appreciate input from anyone with experience! And I’m looking forward to joining in the discussion on this thread

Yes. Ever since we stopped using the DDP we load a gift card to use specifically for dining. I have been able to use it to add tip. So convenient.

If you get one of the new rooms with the Murphy bed, if it’s just the 2 of you, having the Murphy bed up seems like it will give you extra space for ECVs. I haven’t been in the new rooms yet, but I hope to in 10 days!!

Plan to request a 70's room next visit (stayed in 50's last trip) - we are booked preferred. Is it ok to park in the 90's lot though, as we drive to the parks and the 90's lot looks much closer than the 70's. Thank you.

If you are a guest at Pop Century, you can park in any of the lots that you wish regardless of where your room is.

Will the buses be running early enough to make this reservation?

My understanding is that buses begin runnng at 6:30 and possibly earlier. If you are at your stop by 6:30 (or earlier) you may make it on time but I’m not positive.

If taking Disney transportation you will need to take a bus to the MK and then either walk to the Contemporary or take the monorail over to it. If all goes well you will make it but you may arrive at bit after 7:15 but I haven’t had a problem if that happens.

At Pop now! Got our request for connecting reburbished rooms. Staying in building 9 of the 80s section. They did a great job on the refurb. Lots of space, comfortable beds, and the bathroom configuration is awesome. We spent two nights at All Star Soorts before moving to Pop, and there's just no comparing the two.

The first Magic Kingdom bus will come some time between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM.

Be standing at the MK Bus Stop by 6:00 AM.

Tell the Driver you are going to Chef Mickey's-he "may" drop you off directly at The Contemporary.

If not,walk from MK Bus Depot to The Contemporary.

OR save yourself any stress and Uber or Taxi from POP to The Contemporary.

We checked in today. We arrived before noon and were happy that our rooms were ready. I requested a room in building 1 ground floor through Touring Plans and almost received what we wanted. I opted out of Mouse keeping as we are only here for four nights. I noticed in one of our rooms the shampoo and conditioner was half full so I am assuming they may have just given us what was left over from the previous guest. The other room has full bottles. I walked around and can see work being done in building 6. I could hear noise in the courtyard between buildings 6 and 10. Weather today is great. Super excited to be here.
