Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

I think we had to wait around an hour... we ordered fairly late in the night.

I'm pretty sure they quoted us 45 minutes and it arrived in 30. (edit - I'm her husband, this isn't a generic "we")

We wanted to try the room request through touring plans but need to make sure it is a connecting room. How do we know for sure which ones are connecting rooms?

I have floor plans of each building on my longhouse pages. I drew them from the actual construction plans so it shows all connecting rooms.

Hi everyone! I am new here but my husband, my 2.5 year old, and I are headed to the Poly in less than 3 weeks! Just wanted to say thanks for this thread. I've been lurking here for a little while and it's been so helpful. This will be our first time staying on site and I am so excited.

Hi all! My first time visiting this lovely thread -- such awesome pics!! I just booked the Bungalow for our F&W / W&D Half trip in Nov!! I was wondering where I might be able to get more info on these? Should I be over in the DVC board? Thanks!

Thanks guys!! My sister stayed at Poly once and loved it -- we're really looking forward to it!! I'd love more info on the bungalows, but can't find a ton. I'm sure we'll enjoy it no matter what, but I'm the type who really likes to know "the lay of the land", I guess...!

I've seen them while there, but not the inside.. Which is why I asked you to post pics..I'm so curious

At the Poly now and I am absolutely in love! Definitely my favorite resort so far. The Club lounge is wonderful. Service all over is excellent. Such a beautiful resort!!

Hi!

We're staying at the Poly April 9-15. I'm a bit confused at the monorail closures...does this mean at some points the monorail won't be running AT ALL?

Here is the menu posted again...if you notice it denotes the snack credit. We saw so many people ordering food....I would be surprised if they were not taking the DDP.

From what I read online, I think the only way you can get hear the soundtrack for wishes is in the King Kamehameha Club Lounge. Also if you are staying in one of the Bungalows they have speakers on the patio deck.

As for the Contemporary I believe it's just at California Grill and at the Atrium Club level Lounge.

And the TVs in every room can get it.

It is a wonderful resort and I think you'll have a great timet! We've tried several other resorts and have loved them all, but the Poly will always be our favorite. I agree that I haven't seen a lot of info on the bungalows either, but they look amazing and I'm sure you'll have a great time .

As dansdad and Cluelyss posted, playing wishes on the room tv is only possible at the CR.

ThANKS! I don't want it to go too fast, I love the planning part. Plus I am having a small panic attack as I don't feel like I am ready, lol.
