Hi all! My first time visiting this lovely thread -- such awesome pics!! I just booked the Bungalow for our F&W / W&D Half trip in Nov!! I was wondering where I might be able to get more info on these? Should I be over in the DVC board? Thanks! :)

On the disney site, the oasis pool grill is listed as taking the dining plan. But I'm not sure if that means for everything on the menu.

Is it possible to get room service delivered to the CL lounge? I am thinking a late night Ohana feast eaten in the lounge might be an idea. I'm not sure about eating that late though. Oh well, it's vacation right?

You should ask IPO when they are doing your pre-visit planning.

Oasis Pool Menus, Does anyone know if this is considered a "Quick Service Meal" on the DDP or is this not on the DDP?:confused3 TIA!:goodvibes:wave2:
Here is the menu posted again...if you notice it denotes the snack credit. We saw so many people ordering food....I would be surprised if they were not taking the DDP.

lounge closes at 10 and it can be busy with guests having desserts and watching the fireworks. Maybe up on the 3rd floor if no tables are available in the main room. During snack time, I brought soup in from Capt Cooks and one morning we saw a gentleman bring take out breakfast for his children. At night it can get busy during fireworks.

30 days till our anniversary trip and youngest 1st trip! Waiting on our magic bands and our covers. Still haven't decided room request. I def. would like to have 3rd floor. Thought Samoa would be great facing lava pool but is there any regular standard rooms in any longhouse that could possible see the fireworks? Or beach? There are so many choices, I just don't know.

Fiji on the west side looks at the beach in front of Luau Cove but no castle or fireworks. The only standard view rooms that you can see the castle and fireworks at all are in Tokelau (DVC Studios) but it is a sideways view and Aotearoa has some standard view rooms on the north side. I just posted a few of the views from the rooms people sent in from Aotearoa. Right now there are no leaves on the trees so you can see through the trees at the castle and fireworks and a few are partly obstructed. Other than that, there are no standard view rooms with a view of the castle and fireworks. The last room in Samoa use to see it off to the side but a tree blocks that view now.

We wanted to try the room request through touring plans but need to make sure it is a connecting room. How do we know for sure which ones are connecting rooms?

I'm torn on trying for a standard with a castle view or a view of the monorail.

Anyone have insight on the chances of getting a third floor room during our lake view portion so we can see the castle?

Arguably, it's a 1/3 chance.

If you are in Tuvalu- 1st floor is lagoon view..3rd floor is TPV only (I don't know what 2nd floor is considered but they do not have balconys). We stayed tpv in this building and LOVED it!!!! Quiet, good location, beautiful views!

I think Lagoon views for DVC studios are only in 1 building, but I can't remember the name. I don't think it's Tuvalu though.

Lol, yes. But I wasn't sure if anyone knew if that's the thing everyone requests, etc.

It's Moorea. One side of Moorea.

I suspect it is, to be honest. I don't think that changes the basic odds, though. If 100% of people request it, 1/3 can get it, right? (I'm punchy, it's Monday.)

I think if you ask for "not first" it improves. Some second floor views are still okay with the bungalows.
