I've read that Cafe Rix has a refillable mug station, yes? Does that mean I can pick up the mugs there too? Or can I only do that in the gift shop/Mercado?

We're flying in later at night and doing Epcot EMH the next morning. So I'd like to be able to swing by Cafe Rix to bring back coffee/water/pastries pre-7 am but wouldn't have the mugs yet.

Yes, you can pick up mugs there as well.

thank you. i had not seen this yet. does anyone know if there are tables to sit or it's just chairs with a side table?

You can sit at the bar, at one of several tall tables with tall chairs, or in one of several seating areas with coffee-table height tables.

None of my lousy pix effectively show all three in focus, but in the below you can see the bar, at the far right the coffee table style option, and in the back, out of focus, to the left of the big column one of the tall tables.

I agree. This added over 500 rooms. Convention hotel or not, they needed a refill station there.

Lower lobby next to Barcelona lounge has huge coffee carafes with regular and decaf for refills. People were refilling at 11 pm, so i presume they are refreshed all day. No soda machines, though - you need to go to rix for that.

I'm so excited to stay in a resort with a food court! Last few trips we were at Yacht/Beach or Polynesian and counter service was kind of limited.

What's your favorite lunch/dinner item??? Anything I shouldn't miss?

I was able to change our standard room to a tower (water view) room for our November Christmas trip!!!!!!

i appreciate the pics from the other poster. i have dh plus two teen boys who like eating in the morning and the food is better then i thought would be offered but i'm wondering if they would be more comfortable at the el meracado in the morning? opinions?

rix? is the grab and go breakfast called rix or el mercado? not in the tower...
