@foxor - IMO, in terms of landscaping: 1 Ranchos, 2 Casitas, 3 Cabanas

Which section has more beautiful buildings and landscaping, the Casitas or Cabanas? I have heard good things written about both areas, so I am having a hard time figuring out out which one to request.

I personally prefer the Cabanas. I love the hammocks over the sand.

I haven't been (yet - 84 days!) but it seems like it is personal preference. Casitas is more "city like", Cabanas is beachy, and Ranchos is more desert. So depending on what appeals to you, as well as amenities and features in the area.

We are probably going to try for Cabanas since the beach appeals to us.

Kiddie pool was re-opened this morning and pool was open again at 9am.
The lifeguard said they would be opening at 9am til Sept. 6th.

I just booked a room at The Coronado Springs for Dec 3rd through the 7th for DW and I. I got a decent price with the AP discount for a Business class room. This will be our first time staying at CSR, so I've began researching for information on the resort and the Business class benefits.

Pool hours are 9-11 today. Interesting tidbit, there's a sign as you go into the main pool that says, Pool is only for hotel guest, magic bands will be scanned today. Haven't seen anyone scan bands yet but I've never seen that sign before

Interesting, I guess they are finally going to be "strict" on the pool being for that resorts guests. I know they have been already scanning at the other major themed pools. Or maybe just to throw non-guests off guard...

I'm thinking that too. With the holiday weekend, they probably have higher than normal amounts of people going to the pools that aren't staying at the resorts.

I actually saw that sign two Saturday's ago on the day we checked in, but I never saw it again after that. Maybe they put it up on Saturdays to keep locals away.

I would be surprised if it wasn't complete by then. We are just talking about a simple fence not major construction.

Pods...a cuisinart one to be exact. I don't think anywhere has kcups

I heard they were taking all of those down due to gators and such. Did they put up whatever kind of barrier so they can have them again?
