Thanks to all of you for the helpful info. We just returned from a 4 night stay at CR in a garden wing (cheapest rooms).
When I got there I verified that I requested a north garden wing room to be closer to MK. She said OK that would be fine. Then she looked on her computer and asked if a pool view room would be OK. I said great!
Then, she realized that the room was in the south wing and asked if that was still OK. She said it was a better room. I took the pool view, I thought it might be an upgrade. Ireally don't know if it was an upgrade or night. But we got room 5114 on the first floor witha patio facing the pool. We could not see the pool, but it was close by. We could see a portion of the beach and lagoon. The sunrise on the water was pretty from our room and at 10:05pm we could also see the Electric water parade from the room.
I was glad for the room we got. The daybed was fine for my mother; it looked like regular twin size to me. I thought we might walk to MK if we were in the north wing, but after walking over to that area and looking at the castle in the distance, we decided the monorail was the best choice for us with 3 girls age 8, 5 and 2.
Kids loved the pool. Stickey Mickey's (got takeout for breakfast in room) from Concourse Steakhouse were yummy for breakfast. They have pin trading on the 4th floor on Friday nights with a special kid's area.
Glad to answer any questions that I can.
