Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I was wondering if anyone has stayed BC CL recently- and if so if you have any pictures of the CL food or nightly offering menu. Can only seem to find them pre-renovation and I'm not sure if anything has changed. Does anyone have a favorite CL guest room/view that they'd suggest?also, have you noticed any cut backs?? Thank you!!!!!

On page 1 of this thread, there are lots of pictures of the food from fairly recent. We thought the food rated right up there with GF RPC. I really looked forward to the mozzarella cheese and olives every night! @TigrLvsPooh wrote an awesome report from her stay there, I believe, and those are probably her pictures on page 1 also

It was a big improvement from our last stay there and IMHO it absolutely rivaled what was served over at the GF the following week.

Yes -- totally agree! Our first stay in the "new" BC lounge was shortly after it was renovated and we noticed the food improvement during that trip. It's almost like the lounge got a make-over and so did the food .

We check-in this weekend. I'll do my best to get pictures of everything.

I've never been as excited for somebody else's vacation. My husband has asked EVERY SINGLE DINGLE DAY if pics have been posted yet.

Thank you!!!! Our friends that we travel with really want to stay at BC, so it might be hard to get them to switch...they've stayed there before and love it! The pool does look amazing!!!

The BC is a nice resort, I'm sure you'll have a great time! .

Sounds like there's been some big changes at BC CL. I have always read more negative than positive reviews, but maybe that will change with the new lounge/new offerings added .

Just returned from SL at the GF. Loved the resort but cutbacks were very apparent in CL. Still had a great time. I posted a mini review a few days ago. Let me know if there are any questions.

Hey guys! So we have switched from AKL CL to BC CL. I just don't think I'm going to like any of the evening apps - and I know my kids won't eat anything either. So although they're sad we won't get to see the animals, I think the pool will make up for it. My first choice was Poly but it's showing unavailable- but I'm not giving up just yet!

We are staying at the Poly (in 2 rooms) over the summer and I had wanted to add one more day to the Poly and it wasn't available. I had tried online and over the phone. A few days later I tried again and there were many rooms available. So it could work out for you - but we do love the BC CL. The lounge was huge and they had great food options - more than the Poly.

Yes I would say so. We enjoyed the offerings and drinks. It was nice before and after the parks. But nothing like the service we received at the Beach Club a couple years ago. We got turndown service 5 of our 7 nights. Not one CL CM ever engaged in any conversation with us. No extra pixie dust or asking how our stay was. CL was snacks and offerings and nothing more.

A couple times they ran out of food before it ended and they didn't refill. But we enjoyed it for what it was...convenience.

For many years, we rotated trips between BC and Poly -- 2 of our favorite resorts! Have fun!

Your kids will love the BC pool. We do. There are pros and cons for each CL. We love that you can sit in the Poly all times of the day and that you can see wishes at night with the music playing but the food is much better at the BC lounge. When we were there they never ran out of food. The Poly ran out of oatmeal twice while we were there about 45 minutes before breakfast ended. They didn't replace it with anything. You also had much more choices at the BC. The lounge is huge - you will never have a problem getting a seat.

Well I pretty much failed at getting lounge pictures today. The lounge was pretty crowded all day and I felt weird taking pictures of strangers sitting in the lounge. The CM at check-in said they were at 100% capacity. I will describe the lounge and try to get some pictures tomorrow. If you are familiar with where the drinks used to be- that is seating now. There are a couple of tables in that area and a long wooden bar type of table with two stools. The counter where the food is has been extended all the way where the chef used to be and the drinks are now at the end right by the big television. The kid area is gone. There is more seating back in that area now. The chef was preparing hot apps on the left side of the tv right before you get to where the old kid section was. I am sorry to see all the kid things go for AKL club level but the additional seating is a plus. Tonight the hot apps were falafel and African stew. Then the standard cheese, hummus and veggies.

We were not greeted outside by anyone to take us up to club level. However when I went to check in the CM said oh you have club level access let me walk you up there. He took us upstairs and had us get drinks while we waited for a Club CM to be available. I was happy with check in. Sam check us in and was very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. We also had turn down service without requesting. So far we are happy.

We will be at the Poly CL for the first time over Thanksgiving Nov. 19 - Nov 26. I know it will be busy, but I still hope it will be fun.

Thank you so much for your detailed information!! You were so helpful!!! I love the fact that you can see the fireworks and that was definitely my biggest draw to wanting to book Poly. But just the same, we can take a nice evening stroll each night to watch Illuminations at BC. I think either way, we'll be happy!! I'm really looking forward to it!!! Thanks again!!!
