I don't know if it's because we have UK accounts, but when we're over here my phone connects to T-Mobile. We've been at AoA for a week and most of the time I get 'no service'. Thank goodness the wifi is good here!

Incidentally, for what it's worth, our main bugbear about AoA is that by the time we get our trays to a table our food is luke warm at best. The aircon is set way too high.

Thank you!!! Your not the only person with t mobile issues there.. is it sad I'm basing my cell service around Disney?!?!

Anyone have experience with approximate bus times (stop to gate) from AofA and 4 parks?

Is the queen bed comfortable in the Nemo Suites? lol I ask because we JUST got home yesterday from the Beach Club and those beds were HORRID... I mean - really bad. I am still sore from sleeping on them :(

Hubby said he would go again but only if I make sure the beds are comfy LOL

We stayed in a Lion King suite back in 2013 and I found the queen bed to be firmer than I like, personally. I don't think the bed was "bad", just more firm than my bed at home (with the comfy quilted pillow top :)). My husband thought it was great -- he prefers a firmer mattress than what we have at home. I started to feel bruised (I'm a side sleeper) after 2 nights of sleeping on the bed in the suite. I called housekeeping and got an extra blanket that I folded up and put under the bottom sheet on my side of the bed. That provided a little more cushioning and I slept much better. I didn't find the table bed or sofa bed to be as firm as the queen. I'm hoping that the beds are more "broken in" now and when we go back in June the bed will be a little less firm.

Does anyone know if we could comfortably fit two scooters in the suites? I will definitely need one (knees that hate me) and a second person traveling with us may need one too. Just trying to determine logistics

Uhm, no...sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Especially since I am on AT&T and thinking hmmm...maybe I need to change to Verizon too...but then I remembered one person in our party has Verizon, so we should be good.

Verizon is EXPENSIVE... so be careful. I want to go to T-Mobile for the data!!! and possibly get phones for the kids..

I do believe there is enough room for two scooters. Also i noticed a lot of people leaving them in the hall plugged in??

I'm really hoping we can go to AofA this year and stay in a nemo suite! This resort looks awesome!!

They have one bus stop, correct? Does it get super crowded in the morning making it hard to get on a bus? We are early risers so will try to make morning emh. Thank you!!

I only saw the one bus stop. It wasn't crowded last year to me. I love the resort! My favorite!!!! We switched from Lk to Nemo. I will post back on how it is. ;)

Yes, like Pop Century and the All-Stars, AoA has a centralized (one) bus stop area. With bus stops of this type, the line for each destination ebbs and flows in the morning as buses are dispatched. I wouldn't be concerned about it being too crowded, or inhibiting your ability to get onto a bus.

Hi everyone..we are coming in November for one quick night before checking into the GF...can anyone tell me how long the walk from the main lobby over to the mermaid rooms is? and from the mermaid rooms over to the main pool? Thank you!

Does anyone know if all King beds in Little Mermaid are handicapped accessible or are some just King beds? I'd like to request King bed if available for LM but obviously do not want to take away a handicapped accessible room from someone.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that someone needing an accessible room will have priority over someone requesting one. So you don't need to worry about taking one from someone who needs it. :thumbsup2

I have a hypothetical question: We're booked to stay in an AoA LM room August 30 - September 10. We chose the LM room based on the theme, we have a 3 year old Princess fan and because the price was right for us. We loved the look of the pools and the resort theme/grounds and all of the drawbacks that people site about the LM rooms and the distance, size etc etc, didn't convince us we'd be happier elsewhere. There are 3 of us, just my husband, myself and Miss 3. We've never been to Disney World, although my husband and I have been to Disneyland multiple times. This will likely be the only chance our daughter gets to go to WDW for the foreseeable future as we're looking to move back to New Zealand early next year. We currently have the Dining Plan on our reservation. We're hoping that free dining might be available during this time - although I know we would probably have to move rooms/resorts. So what resort would you move to for free dining if you were us?

I'd move to a Royal Room at POR. They are beautiful, still Princessed themed (although not as outright as the LM rooms), have queen beds, bigger rooms, and fireworks in the headboards. They are amazing!

I haven't stayed at POR, but I agree a Royal Room at POR would be nice if you want to keep that theme.

If free dining allows you to up your budget, you may want to consider one of the "cheaper" deluxes such as AKL or WL. Wilderness Lodge would provide easier access to MK. AKL is less convenient but has the animals.
