Thanks for all the responses. Truth be told, I tried to switch today, but the only resorts available (we are under FD) were ones we didn't want, so we decided to stick with AoA.

We will enjoy every minute, and let go of our worries to make the most out of everything. Thanks again!

That's a great attitude to have. Perhaps you should take it as a sign that you staying at AoA was just meant to be.

Can anyone tell me what park AoA is closest to and furthest from...for timing bus rides??

I don't know the times for certain because with the kids I was paying more attention to them than what time it was. I believe that HS was the closest. For AK they stopped at BB first and it seemed like both EP and MK were far away.

What didn't make any sense was that instead of going out the main entrance the bus would most of the time go past the entrance and down past POP and circle around and then come out on the main road at POP and drive past AOA again. It made no sense to me. Maybe someone here can explain why it did that. It never stopped at POP just drove past it a lot!!

Not sure of any of you AOA people have heard this offer yet. Right now it is available to Disney Visa card holders, which could mean it might be released to the general public. The dates are good, but do cover some of the FD dates also towards the end. Everybody's situation is different though. But, it has only been offered to Disney Visa card holders right now.

In order of closeness to Pop/AoA with my unscientific commentary:

Hollywood Studios (really close)
Epcot (pretty close)
Animal Kingdom (may stop at Blizzard Beach to and from) (not so close)
Magic Kingdom (far)

Probably spacing the arrival times out. They don't want busses having to wait where they dump off people as it clogs the entrances and exits of the other hotels. If they have four busses operating the loop with stops at Epcot and AOA, they want one at epcot, one halfway back to AOA, one at AOA and one halfway to epcot...if you get my drift. Park closing and opening are handled a little differently.

Thanks for posting this! I just checked our flights, and was able to rebook our same flights at $40 less per person. That means I just got a $160 credit for future travel (We are going on a cruise directly from our WDW stay, and that price has dropped too! Have already had $150 taken off of that total.... Now, just hoping for some Pixie Dust for FD to go general public-or any other promo for our dates- and save some more. My motto is "the more we can save on travel, the more often we can afford to travel"!)

What date are you flying we are going down Sept 28 and back Oct 7th . Disneysherrym and ollgy will be flying down on the 28th but we can't tell Ollgy little ones it's a secret . So if your flying with us welcome to the party!!!!

I just took another look the price for the way down Was $2. more than when I booked . Down is running about 85 more than we paid . What section are you staying in ? Lion king for us So exciting so many of us from Pa will be there at the same time. Last trip we had 4 different family's from our area at the resort.

YES, YES, YES!!!! Dh managed to move our FD reservation from AS Movies to AoA!!! We arrive on 9/16 and will be there until 9/26 - CAN'T wait!! It's going to be a huge surprise for DD
