By the way, what is 'trolling'??? Sorry if it is obvious!!!
debsx:hug:

We just changed our reservation from POFQ to AoA Little Mermaid rooms..

My grandson wasnt the least bit interested in the POFQ resort, but once he saw the pictures/video of AoA he was hooked.

Gotta admit, I am too...:cool1:

We're staying at the AoA as well in the LM rooms in early December. I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction, since LM and Nemo are her two favorites.

Does anyone know if the LM rooms will offer refridgerators as well? I'm sorry if someone asked this already. Thanks!:grouphug:

Debating if we should stay here for our trip in January... my son is a Cars FREAK so I know he would love it. Me... not so sure :rotfl:. Torn between AoA or AKL.

We're expecting fridges in the LM rooms similar to the new addition of fridges to rooms at Pop Century and All Stars.

I just changed our reservation from POP to AoA (LM section). So excited!!! :goodvibes
We will be staying there Oct 7-13.

BTW, what does 'trolling' mean?
.

It refers to someone who says something controversial online just to get a rise out of people. It happens all the time on these boards and mostly done in good fun to see how many people respond. I didn't mean it to be offensive, more like I was calling her out (and some like to get caught ;)) As it turned out, I was wrong and removed my comment. My bad, case closed.

Not sure of any of you AOA people have heard this offer yet. Right now it is available to Disney Visa card holders, which could mean it might be released to the general public. The dates are good, but do cover some of the FD dates also towards the end. Everybody's situation is different though. But, it has only been offered to Disney Visa card holders right now.

Mousesavers is reporting. Here's the link. Scroll halfway through to find the offer.

Here's the direct link on the Visa site to the Visa AoA offer that StacyMarie posted above.

Note that the offer expires on June 14 so there's only a few days left to book this offer. The offer has been out since early May or so.

Someone posted a few days back that most of the dates were full now. Not that AoA is full, but the number of rooms released with the DisVisa are spoken for. I thought about calling to check because we have the discount but I think I'll wait to try AoA another time.

I'm booked in LM for Dec 1-8, 2012. I've been reading about Pop Warner and have never heard of it. Most are saying it doesn't affect the crowd levels to badly. so that's good.
Ive also been following this thread from the beginning and enjoyed every post! I'm excited too!
I have to say that the LM rooms are not what I would usually like but I am excited to stay in a new resort! They do seem absolutely perfect for kids, in fact I can't imagine staying at any other resort if you have kids.:thumbsup2
I stayed at POR last visit and CSR the time before that. I couldn't decide between them for this (first ever) Christmas trip so I thought, why not something new.
As a solo adult I find the LM a little "bright" for my taste but it is cute and I think I'll feel like a part of the movie. Can't wait! I am really liking the exciting new food choices being a vegetarian.
Fortunately there is something for everyone's taste at Disney.:wizard:

i just found this thread yesterday and i am rushing to read it all!!! i am so excited and was previously sad that i hadn't seen a thread about AoA yet - so happy i found it!! me and my dni(7) will be staying at AoA in LM section from October 17 - 24th!! :cool1: my nieces FAVORITE is Ariel (with Rapunzel at a close second) it will be a surprise to her that we are getting an "Ariel" room!!

we will be decorating our windows too, just read the looooooooooong thread on that and have started creating!

I was told by a crm that this resort doesn't have any cots or rollaways...

i cannot believe that they wont have them for the LM rooms. :confused3

would love to know this also?

it was determined by a pp who said it was approx .25 mile, which is 1320 feet, which is about 500 steps :) ETA: re LM to Bus :)

Thanks for posting this! I'm glad the mini-fridge has that little freezer section. It looks like it would fit some small icepacks which will be very helpful.

or some mickey ice cream bars :rotfl:

I have AoA LM booked for Sept 29 - Oct 9. I was already worried about crowds and the distance LM is... And now after seeing a bunch of videos from the FN visitors, I am feeling disappointed in the whole resort. The splash pad area is kind of a joke, and reminds me of the fountains from DD, minus the characters. The FN playground area looks like it was built for 1-2 year olds.

At this point, I think I will be talking to my TA about switching resorts tomorrow.

Anyone else feel similar after the opening?

I visited the resort a few days ago and I was BLOWN AWAY by the theming, the lobby, the Nemo pool and splash area (we were able to walk through), the food court, everything about it. What I could see of the Cars section looked fabulous as well! Can't wait until it opens and we see closer photos of the courtyard and pool.

But if you think it's not for you, then it's not for you. It's YOUR vacation. Stay in a resort you'll have the most fun (or relaxation or whatever you're looking for) in!

Just in case you are unaware of this, the Lion King section of AoA will not have a pool. Instead they are going to have a playground. Not sure if that makes a difference to you or not, but I wanted to make sure you knew that.

I am just dying to see more pictures of the Lion King section:yay:
I guess it will still be awhile. The ones from Easywdw show the area as having more trees and vegetation which I think would be nice. Just the atmosphere I prefer and what I love about POR.

Still haven't decided which section. We're booked for Nemo but we may just change that to "Family Suite" and have Disney pick for us still.:)

We are also staying in the LM room and will be arriving just two days before you :rotfl:

All values now have fridges in them :woohoo:
