Disney's Art of Animation Resort hotel

Does anyone have a phone number for the resort itself? I'm putting together travel documentation to leave and I need a number for the resort.

Count me out. Maybe it's just me, but I'm just not feeling the cabana cones. Too enclosed AND too much exposure at the same time. Does that make sense? Maybe they could have parked a couple of RV's near the pool and opened the awnings out. Throw out a couple of grills and lawn chairs on astro turf. Mater would love it.

Lots of good pictures of cars...still no good pictures of the pool...I think the fence around the pool is permanent. It going with the surroundings.

Those close-ups were great! Looks more and more like AoA will be added to the must-see agenda of many regardless of where they are staying. The photo-ops are going to be fabulous!

WDW may as well advertise that they are adding a Cars Land this summer too. The detail is fantastic. Love all those bumper stickers on Fillmore. Did you notice the Luxo parking sticker?

I'm so excited because I've been working really hard, extra hours, to save up to upgrade us from POR to AOA and I already have saved enough for it to make sense!!! Whoo hoo!! Now, if FD is offered at POR and not AOA...then I'll have to go back to POR but hoping it's just as it was in August and it's included!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to surprise the kids when we pull up to AOA!! They will be so thrilled!! Now, if only I could fast forward the next 7 and a half months......

It would be nice if there's an almost see through curtain. That way you still have a little bit of privacy rather than a big opening.

Does anyone know the distance from the Little Mermaid buildings to Animation Hall? It looks really far. What is the equivalent at POP (like the 90s buildings from Classic Hall??)

I did this on google earth and then path it out from the center of the little mermaid section to the middle of the main building and it is about 1360 feet or 445 yards or .25 miles.

I am getting very excited. Less than 3 months left for me! Super glad we chose nemo as well after looking at the maps a I absolutely hate parking lot views. Pool or lake or even a courtyard is fine by me.

I love your RV and awning idea! That would be cute. The awning would give shade, but you'd still be outside and able to catch any breeze. I think the cones must play a big role in the movies, though.

Yes, that's a great idea, Fantasia. It could get really hot in those cones, too, so maybe there won't be as much demand for them as people think.

Thanks for all of those other photos, the food and the gift shop photos too, Tiffany. Yeah, I didn't think that those cool pens would be cheap, but I was hoping around $5.00.... I'm going to try and stick to one AoA souvenir and Trading Pin. We shall see. (I do hope to bring some Christmas gifts back with me-for other people.)
