She just left about 15 minutes ago guys. They literally just moved into a condo today ( 5 mins from Disney)
We plan on doing some regular live streams from the parks once a week once I get down there in the next couple months. But she might go back this week once they are settled in. I will have to ask her to let me know what day and time ahead of time so we can all be here to watch.

I wondered where you have been Cinder. I'm glad that nothing is wrong and that you have just been busy. I can't imagine how excited you must be for you and your family to be living so close to WDW! Once a week reports will wonderful for us so thank you. I hope your new home will be everything you hope for and that the move goes smoothly. :thumbsup2

Aww thanks Mickeye! My nerves are such a wreck over it. I am having the most horrible anxiety attacks every night . The thing that makes it better is knowing I have Disney peeps like you to share everything with . I am going to start my new blog and pre-tr tonight so I can share all the insanity with you all. I cant wait to share some exciting news.

SOOOOOOO cool!!!! I can not wait!!!!!

I just got off the phone with the best castmember! I didn't think I could get anymore excited for our upcoming stay at AoA! The castmember said that she got a chance to stay in a Finding Nemo suite last week she loved the room. She said her 30 year old daughter slept on the pull out sofa bed and it was similiar to a memory foam mattress. I asked her about the table bed and she said the mattress was thick and very nice. I feel much better knowing that my mom and mother in law will have comfortable sleeping arrangements.

I don't want to wish the summer away but I am really looking forward to September!

I also just booked AoA, and the cast member had just stayed there. She was literally gushing about how awesome it was. She said the table bed was more comfortable than the pullouts in other hotels, and that they have all sorts of things in the kitchenettes, and the bathrooms were awesome. I am so excited! Now I'm just question my choice of Finding Nemo over Lion King...

I got an amazing Castmember tonight too! She mentioned that she had just stayed in a Nemo room and was staying in Cars next week! I want to be a castmember!!!!!!!!! :scared:

The 80 days until I get there is taking way too long. I can't wait to see more pictures!

Oh man, I dream of 80 days!!!

I have a request for anyone going to AOA by way of Magical Express (or opinions from those who have done ME to POP): ME goes to CBR very first (right?), but then, will it go to AOA or POP first?

When we stayed at POP in October, we went by the entrance for AoA before pulling in to POP, so my guess (which, it's only a guess) is that AoA would go first.

I visited AoA tonight just to check it out. It's lovely! The staff was really friendly too. We didn't eat anything so can't comment on the quick serve restaurant. We walked over the Generation gap bridge from AoA to Pop Century which is a nice walk. The Finding Nemo playground at AoA is a lot cuter than the one at Pop Century (just a generic playground.) The lobby, gift shop and restaurant set up seemed to be just like Pop Century. There's a nice area that kids can watch video clips while parents are busy in the lobby.

Sketch Artist of the Day: Kids sketch an animation of their favorite character and then one picture is chosen each day and the child gets a certificate. Their art work is displayed also.

AoA Tours: June 2 - June 15 (10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 pm., 4:00 p.m.), tour AoA including a sneak peak of the Cars themed area.

Great pics Caroline!

For those who assume my child doesn't eat healthy. You are wrong. Said child would live on steamed broccoli & brussel sprouts but try finding those at Disney and when you do they're cooked to death & slathered in some nasty sauce. So chicken nuggets on vacation it is.

Does anyone know if you can get the smoothie for a drink or dessert on the dining plan? How about combo-ing something with the yogurt parfait for a counter service breakfast credit? I love seeing all those snack credit symbols on yummy stuff! I am curious to see if they let you pair some of the stuff up to make counter service meals.

This is what I am hoping will happen!! My sisters don't know that I switched our reservation to AOA so they think we are staying at POP. It would be perfect if ME would pull into AOA first so I could just say "Get up, this is our stop!!"

Or you cvould say when the get to POP...."Oh didn't I mention that I upgraded our reservation to the Art of Animation Resort" or "Sit down, this isn't or stop and let the stew for a bit."

I just realized there isn't a pool slide???

Yeah, although AoA added amenities that the other Value level resorts didn't have before, the amenities of the pool is one thing that helps differentiate a value resort from a moderate resort. So AoA is continuing that value pools don't have slides.

I don't think any of the value resort pools have slides.

As far as the food thing goes, I eat way more junk in Disney then I do in regular life. I don't really have any allergies, but I don't eat red meat or poultry by personal choice. At home I also don't eat fish, eggs, or dairy. When I'm in Disney, I'll eat lots of junk I'd never eat at home. I also count things like cupcakes as breakfast in Disney. At home I usually have green juice. It's vacation, I'm not going to worry about what I'm eating.

I thought the POP has that REALLY scary clown pool slide thing???
No longer posting about the food. People will eat what THEY want it's their vacation i'm not judging, nor should anyone else. Just go AND HAVE FUN!!! Do what makes YOU and YOUR family happy. hold on.. One last thing on food.... Cupcakes for breakfast sounds good to me too...
OK OK no more...

Someone asked if the lobby is really dark or if it's just the pictures ... just the pictures. I find the lobby very bright. Also, I've heard some folks saying that because the one wall is all lights, it's difficult to get a good picture, because on auto-mode, most cameras will correct for the brightness to avoid having the pictures look washed out.

Also, the 3 white triangles you see in the lobby ceiling are skylights, so if it is dark or cloudy out, some of the ambient light won't be there, making it not quite as bright.
