Just wanted to let my fellow active duty military members know that DCL is offering great rates on cruises starting 19 June going through 18 December 2003. We just booked 7 Day Western for August 2. Rate is basically 50% off normal rate. Cabins available at the special rate are limited, so some categories may not be available if the cruise is already pretty full. We also saved over $1800 on our May 31 Eastern, not counting early booking savings. I booked it directly from Disney. I just called them and told them we were active duty and they gave us the discounts. Of course you have to show them your ID when you board. What a deal! Also something nice about Disney and the Military, We had previously paid for a cruise on March 8th and my husband got orders to Saudi Arabia. Disney gave us back all our money no problem. I was pretty happy with that, especially since when I originaly booked it they told me it was a case by case basis and they do not have to give you your money back, even with a copy of your orders. Well they gave me back every penny of mine, no hassels what so ever. Pretty nice huh. Oh, you can also book with the discount at itt on base and DU. DU quoted me the same exact price as Disney. All most doing the single digit dance!
