Thanks!
So if I was to book breakfast before going to Disney, AK, Epcot - to get there RIGHT at opening - what time would be a good guess?

If the AK is opening at 9am then it depends on how long your traveling party usually takes to eat a sit down breakfast. I would say book your piority seating to allow you enough time to be at the AKL bus stop no later than 8:45am so you can catch the bus over to the AK.

Do i need to book for breakfasts?
What about meals at night at the AKL? Do I need to book for either of the restaurants? Is there a timeframe you must book but If I arrive later I won’t need to book? Any/All hints appreciated
We ate at Boma's on Friday night. I got a ressie for 7:50PM and made the ressie THAT afternoon[about 4:45PM] directly at the podium!!

She did get pictures of the new baby ankole, though! Welcome back, Kimmar!

Oh sure...I send you with one simple assignment..... :confused3

They're good, aren't they? ::yes:: ::yes::
...guess they affected my brain cells!!!

Good Afternoon!!

I am so confused!! I would love to stay at AKL for my upcoming trip...love the decor, the food sounds great...DD will be 5 in December & I have been thinking that the WL would be better for us, transportation-wise...BUT I WANT TO STAY AT AKL!!

So, this question may clinch it for me:

Are bunk bed rooms available with a plain 'ol view (not pool, not savannah)??
The rate I'm trying to work with is the $199 value season rate for our dates in December...

When I checked at WL, to request a bunk bed room, you had to book a Woods/Lodge or Courtyard view, which resulted in an upcharge from the $199 value season rate (I think it was $230?).

The WDW website is no help!!

Thanks a bunch!

Greetings!!

I'm bumping myself here...where is everyone?

I just got my quote from Beth at DU & we will be staying at AKL anyway, WL is booked for our dates...I was meant to stay at AKL!!!

I am :Pinkbounc !!

My previously posted question can be disregarded, unless someone just has the info handy...I'll work it out when we check in.

Happy day to all!

Yes! Bunkbed rooms are in just "plain ole view rooms" too! If you can manage it.. go for the savannah view! Either way, you're going to love AKL!

Thanks a bunch...I'm excited!!!

"Just Back from AKL ~ Any Questions?" on the Resorts Board, you can see a couple of pix from AKL!! (No, :guilty: , Deb, not the ones of the baby Ankole, but I'll get those posted ASAP! :teeth: )

Hello all....we are thinking about trying out AKL and I'm wondering if all of will be comfortable there...dh, dw, ds 5, dd 4 and ds 2...what are your thoughts??? of course all of this is irrelevant if AP codes don't come out...hahahaha :teeth:

It will be crowded with the play'n pack open for the two year old to sleep in. It is a beautiful resort and our fav. to stay at when we are looking for rest and relaxation.

we've stayed at ASMo and POR with a pack 'n play and a double stroller..just 2 kids then ...there would be more room than that though right??? ASMo seemed like there was no where to move with luggage and the stroller....we haven't been since 9/02 so we won't be spending too much time in the room...just sleeping...we have alot to catch up on...can we get by?? DH really wants to give it a try versus going back to WL...help!! :confused3

A regular size room, either pool/savannah/standard view will be the same size as a room at WL. A deluxe room will be slightly larger. Give AKL a try! It is a wild place! :)

Debbie

Seriously thinking of switching our package at POFQ to a room only at AKL. It would be Savanah view. DH said he wants bunk beds for the kids. How good are our chances of getting a bunk bed. Are those rooms limited?

...ASAP if ya prefer bunks. Both our rooms had bunk beds, so we were very comfortable (DH, me, DS-16, and DS-10)....cm387, ask for a room with a bunk, so you will have a bit more room for the pack'n'play! (BTW ~ there was one in our closet!)
