Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR SPORTS Resort

I'm planning a trip in early November, currently at ASMusic but thinking of swapping to Sports. I know that somewhere, there was a list of national competitions and when they happen at Disney. Does anyone know how to find this? I'm just concerned that I'll be overrun by teams or 15s if I move to Sports for my stay (11/11/25-11/14/25).
Looks like some good dates.

15s only arrive in January/February for their Summer Break and July for their Winter Break.

We were there last week and it didn't feel very crowded. We had dinner there one night and there weren't lines for food and plenty of tables. The pool wasn't overcrowded.

We did go to the Poly for dinner and Dole Whip one night and that resort felt CROWDED.

Disney is again trying to free up AS rooms in August. Last year, they upgraded us to POR. When I checked for new discounts for this August, it shows no AS available at all for our dates. Today I got an email about a “custom” upgrade offer, which is just the sale price for CSR posted online. Hopefully someone on this board will get a free upgrade like we got last year.

I got the same message for the end of August (I'm pretty sure I booked the last Standard room for our date, it appeared briefly and I grabbed it, and it hasn't been back since).

My options in the offer were AoA, CSR, and CB. None of the offers were appealing enough in price, though, for our date.
If an upgrade was free, I'd take it lol!

I'm guessing my TA either hasn't gotten an offer or is smart enough to see through the "deal".

I did it. I swapped from ASMusic, standard, to ASSports, preferred for the solo end of my trip in November. I'm excited to be staying at a "new to me" resort, and I think with being solo after being with DD at CSR for 3 nights, I'll be OK (of course, I still haven't cut down the CSR reservation, so if I change my mind, I can stay at CSR).

PS... It's not A DEAL unless the upgrade is free, IMO!!!

We have a short 2 night stay at the end of August. I'm really hoping for a free upgrade :rolleyes1

I'm really thinking I may email my TA proactively and say "If they offer CSR - or a non-skyliner resort - at no extra charge, say yes." just in case. I have a 5-night stay, but you never know.

AOA is one of the few resorts we have yet to try, I'd love to get moved to a suite for free LOL
But I'd take any upgrade really. We squeezed this trip in so it was budget everything & All Star Sports was really cheap.

I just don't want to be dealing with the Skyliner in storm season.
