Well this is my first visit to a Value, so I can't really recommend a building. We are doing a short stay there before our stay at the Poly. My son (5) DESPERATELY wanted to see what he calls "The Woody & Buzz Hotel" 🤣 so my choice of preferred is to hopefully get into the Toy Story buildings.

Which Tarzan is PG-13?!?
ummmm...when did Disney animated movies become PG? I feel like as a culture we have gone backwards and I might soon have to whisper to my daughter in the closet what sex is out of fear of being arrested for it! How is Moana rated "Parental Guidance"?! Is it because a character has tattoos?!!

Tentatively planning on going the first week of August. DS (8) goes back to school on August 19th, wife is having surgery next week with a 10 week recovery time so I think it's the best choice for us (otherwise I would have pushed for first week of June). I figure it's close enough to the 50th that people will opt to go after October 1st rather than 8 weeks earlier and miss out on a lot of offerings for the anniversary.

We're planning on going in January 2023 so we won't be missing out on the 50th :smooth:

Hello all. I am going to be at movies for 1 night in November. I won’t be there much to enjoy the resort but sorcerer Mickey is my fave so I’ll be sure to go look at the pool. I just got a standard room so I was thinking what would be the best building to request?

For a 1 night stay....doesn't matter really. However, to make it easier to see the pool I would request Love Bug.

Just added a split stay with ASM for the July 4th weekend. We're at SSR for the week before, but decided to extend our stay and since we can't borrow any more DVC points b/c of the restrictions, decided to just do ASM for that weekend. I am looking forward to being back! The kids will love it, I'm sure.

I just booked a standard room with a roll in shower. Does anyone know if these rooms are located in both standard sections? I suspect the info on Touring Plans isn't correct -- they have no two queens with a roll in anywhere in the resort.

Wow. I'm sure it'll be this way for awhile. I wonder when they'll take away the pool restriction?

We checked into Movies on Sunday. Will be here until this coming Sunday. We have not spent a lot of time at the resort but I can try to answer questions.

Is Duck Pond Pool reaching capacity also?

Does it feel "strange" passing by the closed Sports and Music Resorts.

Thanks.

How's the pool situation? Does the resort feel crowded?

How have the buses been? Thanks!

Music and sports are lit up, so it doesn’t feel too weird passing by there.

Busses have been better than I expected. The longest we have waited is 20 minutes or so. (One time). There are several charter busses helping out. Several times we have walked right on to a bus leaving the parks.

There is definitely a crowd here. We usually have to wait 5-10 minutes to get drink refills. We have not mobile ordered yet, but it seems efficient. The CM’s are very nice and helpful.

I was going to get a drink at the pool bar yesterday but gave up because the line was not moving and there was only one person working.

Yesterday was the first day that I know of that the main pool went on a wait. Dh and ds went down around 2 and got in fine. There was a wait by 4. It was hot here yesterday. The next few days will be cooler.

I miss daily housekeeping......
