I apologize if this has been asked before, but we are heading to The World in December and have a couple of "off" days planned.

I have 5 yo old twins who are totally into video games along with my DH who is always playing to "help them out"....

Would they enjoy DisneyQuest or would they be too young?.

Your opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

Okay...here's my opinion...

If you have DQ admission as part of your admission media (Unlimited Magic Pass, Premium Annual Pass) I'd say go for it. If you will have to pay the admission charge I'd say wait.

My kids didn't really start fully enjoying DQ until they were about 7yo. Until then there were many things they could not do because of height requirements. (DS8 was finally tall enough to do everything on our May trip.) The admission charge is steep and personally I'd just take the kids to an arcade instead (ASMovies and the Contemporary have great arcades).

Just an opinion.

I took my 6 year old son last September and he just loved it, was disappointed that he was not tall enough for all the things but we did quite a bit and really enjoyed it, it is expensive but we had UPH so it didn't matter to me. This year I only have PH and DS (7) wants to go back to Disneyquest....... um ...... think I'll take him to the Contemporary to their arcade, it is I think the best on Disney property.

So, if you have UPH - I'd also say go for it, if you have to pay, I'd probably do something else.

When or when will they make Disneyquest one of the + options? (I already know they won't but it doesn't hurt to wish)

We took my neice and nephew (6 & 8) they enjoyed it for the most part but there were a lot of older kids and teens that kind of took the place over. If it is included in your ticket, give it a try. If not ---I agree with the earlier post---got to the arcade at one of the resorts.

jkovick's point about the older kids is right on. I took my son in when he was 7, and got real tired of politely but firmly reminding the older kids about taking turns, standing in lines etc. None of them were rude after being told, but they do have a tendency to "take over" and ignore the smaller younger ones who are waiting.

Okay....Here's Grumpy's Opinion.

Wait untill your kids are a little older. Grumpy's DS had a good time but he's 9, Grumpy's DD had a rough time because of the height restrictions. For the money that it costs, I say take them to an arcade where everyone can enjoy, or how about a day of miniture golf or swimming.

Always Grumpy
