Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

Hi Everyone! I emailed Sarah about January dates for Y.E.S. and Homeschool and I got back a Save The Date for January 24 and 25 with the Homeschool Days program.

I might be the only one planning that far out, but FYI.

I hope my email gets a response soon. How long did it take for a response?

Like next day. Sarah is a Monday thru Friday CM, so if you emailed her Friday or the weekend, it will be at least Monday. She replied to me within 48 hrs, for sure. She's a rock star.

Did she say anything about the YES open enrollment for next year? My kids would love to do some of the classes but we don't homeschool.

She did not have info on the Y.E.S. program yet. For what it's worth, I don't homeschool either. But you can still take advantage of that program. I spoke with Sarah last year about the differences in the programs and asked her if there was any info I needed to send regarding homeschool and she indicated that there was not. Also, this year those programs I BELIEVE were either at the same time or within the same 7 day period.

I emailed Sarah last week asking her what other months they have planned for open enrollment this year other than June and July and she said at this time there are no plans for open enrollment the rest of the year.

Well....I finally got an email from Sarah today and she confirmed that there are no days for open enrollment in August.:sad

Oh well, maybe next time.

Guess I'll be making my own lesson plan and we will take a day trip to the gulf side. My boys have not seen an "ocean" or been on a real beach. Thought the waves in Clearwater would be easier to handle for the first time than the Atlantic.

No, I called Sarah, she said it won't be up until probably the end of the month, just be patient.

I am actually considering this, but I am not sure of a few things. Do parents attend the class or not? Say it is three cousins, with three parents. Can all parents stay? If you don't stay, can you still use the same tickets? This just sounds too good to be true! I am looking at a July trip, and think the kids would love the Properties of Motion or Dynamics of Technology class.

Does anyone know what grade they refer to? If a child is finishing up 5th grade, could they go to a 6th-12th grade class is summer?
