Disney Wonder Dry Dock Watch - 11/10 Wonder departs on first cruise out of Galveston

Does it look like all the verandas are open? Like you can walk from one room to the other using the verandas?
I wonder if sand blasting the dividers would have been too hard on them? The new dividers may be lighter in weight also. I bet that would help things that they decided to add that were a little heavier. I've never been on a veranda yet so I won't know the difference.

I don't know why, but, my first thought was "oh my gosh how cute!".

I was thinking the same thing! I want one! LOL

I don't know what the ship looked like before so I don't know what kind of changes to look for. I can't wait to see it for the first time!!

Found a video of some workers pouring what looks like the brightly colored floor of the aqualab. Couldn’t see any fixtures in place yet. unfortunately, a bunch of workers are clearly visible, so i don’t want to repost it. If I get some time, I’ll try crop some stills out of it.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the photos and information that you're posting. Very much appreciated!

Disney must think Frozen sells more cruises than whatever else they may be adding they have not told us about which could be why they focus on the new stage show. That is assuming there will be surprises which is no guarantee.

I was a Frozen fanatic because of my two girls.. but I'm really over it now.. went to Ca. Adventures this weekend and it really says something when you have a 1 minute wait to see them as opposed to almost three years ago when I stood in line for a whopping three hours.... even the new Hyperion show was cool, but it's just been beaten to the ground so much.. I also do not understand why they keep focusing on this show for the boat... when there are so many more interesting points to be made like the new Tiana's restaurant...

They have discussed it. Personally that restaurant is probably the reason I will never get the Grand Slam. I cannot stand New Orleans or it's food and not being able to coordinate Palo so as to know I'm avoiding it going it? Blech. No bueno.

I think refusing to sail on a ship because of one restaurant is a bit much. You also have Cabanas open for dinner most nights of the cruise. But ok...

BTDT and walked out. They pick the things I can't eat on every menu and put them on there.

People have their own reasons for choosing not to cruise on a certain ship or do certain things. I may think your reason for not doing something is "a bit much" - but I recognize you have a right to that choice.

If the New Orleansesque food is the issue, keep in mind that would only be one of the night's menus. Also note that it's galley is contiguous with that of Triton's and it would be an easy request for Triton's menu items that night. I realize, however, that it doesn't solve the problem of soaking in the theming itself.

You should be able to eat off the menu of any other of the dining rooms that night, of course that does mean you would eat off one menu twice, but it could be done. If you like curry you could also ask for that.

I have the same feelings but about the Frozen show. Well, and I've already sailed all the ships so grand slam complete. We are on the first Wonder sailing post drydock. Hubby wants to see the show from he.... (never mind). I'm even going to go with him...with the promise of no less than 2 martinis pre-show & 1 to carry in. I have earbuds & have a knack for napping on the fly. I also dislike formal nights on cruises so I spend those swimming & enjoying things I normally wouldn't make time to do. I say go for your grand slam & make your Tiana's night your un-New Orleans evening. Swim. Catch a movie. Eat Palo. Or stay in & pig out on room service while watching Mickey tv!

Some other info would be nice too DCL... :hourglass

They heard us complaining!!! Today there is a new post about the adult areas on the new Wonder. Not a lot of info, but some nice details about the English pub:

I may have missed what I am about to ask in a previous post. If so, I am sorry. I am doing my best to play catch up on reading through everything I missed (you don't read for a few days, and your lost!).
Did anyone else see the add of Aqua Dunk Entrance on the map? I thought the Wonder was not getting the Aqua Dunk?

I didn't see an entrance to Aqua Dunk on the Wonder when I just looked, the first time I looked at the deck plans, I hit Wonder but it showed me Magic, I had to hit Wonder again to go to the correct deck plan.
