Disney Wonder Dry Dock Watch - 11/10 Wonder departs on first cruise out of Galveston

Happy to have found the new concierge lounge on the new deck plans. Sorry that part of the Outlook Café is lost to everyone. This will be our first Disney cruise so we went big. Will have been saving up for a few years to do this and am looking forward to free fancy coffee in the morning just an quick elevator ride away.

Getting harder to find pictures from the ship... Not sure if the novelty is wearing off for the drydock crew, or if they were told to stop posting to social media.

I am afraid it is the later. I just wish the Disney Parks Blog would do a bit more about the dry dock. There were so many posts about the Magic, why not do it again. It's nice advertising for them and people enjoy these kind of stories...

The scope of work associated with this drydock is incredible. I know that the Magic had allot of work done in 2013 but was it this much? One thing comes to mind when I see all this work being done - people ask why DCL is more expensive than other cruise lines. This is one reason.

I wish they (Disney) would post more official updates, but I'm really hoping it's a case of under promise and over deliver. Can't wait to see the end results!!

agree.

Does it look like all the verandas are open? Like you can walk from one room to the other using the verandas?
Probably. That was a change on the Magic. They haven't put in the dividers yet (that will open between rooms), but I'm pretty sure that will happen.
