Before we apply, I am wondering if there is a glass ceiling as far as the number of points you can receive.

I know that $100 equals 1 point, which in turn equals $1. We want to get the card and use it to pay for EVERYTHING. We have the potential to put about $1500 on the card, which would be 15 points a month, which would be $180 a year. If we had a higher limit, we would spend even more. Do they cut you off a some point?

No, there is no glass ceiling. There used to be, thats why we have two accounts. You can pay your balance down as many times a month as you want, so even if you have a lower credit limit, pay it off on the net several times a month. We average about 30 reward dollars a month, during Christmas and such even more.

We have had our card for years and have never had a problem. We pay for everything, gas, house bills, food, etc( we even charged out kitchen remodel). We average around 50 a month, sometimes more. Pay in full, and on time and after a few months ask for a limit raise. And don't forget you will get points when u charge your actual vacation to Disney (6 months no pay no int).

Just beware, Chase is raising their APR rates and changing to a variable rate :sad2:

VERY good to know. I didn't even think about Christmas, birthdays, etc. I'm hoping to have around $250 - $300 points by next June! Wish me luck spending!!!

Here is another question... HOW do you pay bills, like credit cards, with another credit card? You call them? :confused3 I'm stuck in 1988 with my checkbook! LOL!

Had a card for maybe little over a year. Have almost 500 reward dollars on it.

My wife and I also charge everything and anything we possibly can to it. Pay utility bills, cell phone, gas, food, misc purchases, etc... If we can charge it we can.

We only have 1 credit card, so don't know about paying one CC off with another.

Not a problem if you pay your bill in full every month. I don't even know what my APR is because I pay my bill in full every month.

IMO, if you can't do that you're spending too much.

Sometimes a credit card company will offer a balance transfer promotional rate (like 2% APR on your transferred balance for the next 9 months). You would enter your credit card account number and the amount you want to transfer. The transfer will show as a payment on one card and a cash advance on the other card. This is usually subject to a different percentage rate and also other fees.

Also - this does not count towards any rewards. Only purchases.
