I asked this on the parks board but no one seemed to know- For anyone who has been to HEA since it’s return, are they allowing guests to fill in the garden areas that were used for dessert parties and the Cinderella’s dining package?

We were there July 1st so since it was the first night the fireworks were open may not be as accurate now but both of the garden areas were blocked off and one had a VIP sign on it.

Thanks. That's disheartening. I understand and have no problem with VIP tours getting a reserved spot- they paid for it. I just wish they'd put them over in the seated area ( or perhaps that area is open to the public?) or at least leave 1 of the garden areas open. Every video I've watched, the crowds are just huge and a little more space would be nice. Sigh.....

Not to nudge in. But, I love that I share my birthday with DL. While I have lived in Texas most of my life, I am a California girl at heart (born in San Diego, 58 years ago today). When people talk about famous celebrities they share bdays with, I feel I got a fitting one.

My mom's birthday is today too. Happy Birthday! She was born just a few years before it opened, but it always makes me forget which came first now.

I have a VIP tour booked in a couple of weeks. My coordinator specifically stated that Entertainment has not returned to VIP accessibility and is attractions only... has anyone actually seen a plaid in there?

It is. So this was open to everyone? That would be great news. Pre covid it was the garden area on the left that was used for the dessert buffet.

Yep. We went in around an hour early and brought our QS. Lots of people set up with blankets and snacks like a picnic. We were keeping the walkway open, but right before the fireworks started they asked us to squeeze in closer so more people could get in. Even with “squeezing” it was not crowded like we’ve been in the past. (Sorry, I can’t remember how to flip my photo)

Thank you so much, this is exactly what we'd like to do. Hopefully they continue to allow it to be used. Just an hour early isn't bad at all. I've heard from others they are asking people to squish together and I sure wish they weren't doing that, but it doesn't sound like it was too bad.

I knew that, lol. I am just directionally challenged. But yes, definitely was the one on the right that was reserved for the dessert parties. I sure wish they'd bring them back, we haven't watched the fireworks in a long time without having a dessert buffet reservation.

Disneyland Paris hotel fast pass will not return to DLP
Pixiedust.be reports that the hotel fast passes that came with Club Level at the hotels will not return (last line of the article)
Not that I often book Club Level hotel rooms, but it was a nice benefit to have. The only downside was that you couldn't use them between 12:00 and 16:00.
