I wish I knew what the special event Saturday night was so we could plan whether to go or head to EPCOT or something. Oh, well.

Just gonna enjoy the seasons with the talent on this team before John Angelos burns it all down and starts over 🙃

I'm not an O's fan, but I feel really bad for you, Baltimore has a rabid, loyal fan base and a beautiful ballpark, but your current owner is all about the bottom dollar so your teams are perpetually ransacked every few years.

I'm a Yankees fan, it's been a very long season.

So does the statement "featuring updates from around the world" mean that they're going to focus on the international parks and nothing will be announced for WDW? I'd be fine with at least a Dinoland replacement announcement (no blue sky concepts, but actual confirmation about a replacement).

They typically don’t announce major things at this event, maybe just an update on Moana or an official opening date along with some more insight to the whole EPCOT spine.

Maybe another glimpse at what’s coming for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, though anything short of a new animatronic is a letdown.

It’s mostly just a focus on things in progress with some smatterings of minor things to come.

It’s bad when I could almost defend Bob Chapek more than the Angelos family at this point… 😂

Figured. I saw some videos on Twitter (never calling it X, not sorry) of some imagineers walking around Dinoland this weekend so I think it's definitely on the table but maybe not this soon.

The Tiana update has to be substantial and impressive or else we'll be subjected to some of the most annoying takes you've ever had the displeasure of reading.

Hoping for Fantasy Springs opening announcement atleast 🙏

I'm a Yankees fan, it's been a very long season.
I'm a St Louis Cardinals season ticket pack owner and it has been an even longer season. Have any starting pitchers you are willing to sell? At least our owners recognized they cheaped out last off season and have vowed to correct that this winter. I'm heading to Spring Training in March, so we'll see.

But back to News and Rumors. After much angst and worry, the new Trails End looks like a big hit!

mmmmmm, part of me sees that strawberry milkshake and wants it now!!! 🍹

Another part of me recalls excitedly trying the new caramel apple shake at Auntie Gravity last weekend and almost vomiting it was so bad 🤢

So maybe going to wait for some reviews on this one lol

That’s good to hear. I’m right now so FRIGGIN' SICK of Disney Parks fans on Twitter/X (and WDWMagic) making the ugliest, stupidest assumptions that the Disney management liked the Blue Sky idea pitched at D23 last year and is looking to getting rid of all of DinoLand (and dinosaurs in general from AK), when this idea was in fact made during Bob Chapek’s reign as Disney CEO. Now, Bob Iger has returned as CEO, and I doubt he would approve the Blue Sky idea.

I would prepare for disappointment. Moana and Tiana will probably be what they talk about. They may show the renderings for Fantasy Springs and discuss what is already out there, but OLC will want to announce the opening themselves.

Oh don't worry. When it comes to Disney nowadays my expectations are lower than the depths of hell.

It’s not a matter of Disney disappointing. That’s just always been the nature of this event. It saddens me when people go and then are all angry that they didn’t announce anything or have any celebrities. Many of us who know what it’s about and would be thrilled to go couldn’t get tickets. Not saying that you are doing that though.

I didn't know people expected this event to have celebrities present. But yeah, I get it and that wasn't my intention. I would love to attend one of these live too.

This whole Blue Sky idea pitch on Dinoland should definitely not be brought up by anyone anymore. I've had to criticize Disney Parks fans on Twitter/X for bringing it up. It's an idea I definitely don't see Iger approving.
