Minnie Van Service Now Accepting Disney College Program Transfer Applications

Current Disney College Program participants now have the opportunity to express interest in a new role. This role provides Cast Members a $14/hour pay rate plus tips, and it's the only role that allows College Program participants to be tipped. Interested College Program Participants should be willing to extended their current program through October 2022 or later.

To perform this role, Cast Members must be at least 21 years old with a valid United States driver’s license, and they must have possessed a driver’s license for a minimum of five years (since April 2017).

Re: Disney emails, sometimes I think no matter what you do, it's just one of those great mysteries of the internet (combine that with Disney's IT shortcomings! ;) )

Typically, I get Disney emails, but I have this problem with Southwest Airlines. No matter what my preferences say, I don't ever get the promotional emails or even the monthly points/etc one they send out, but DH always does! The only email I ever get from them is if I book a flight. I've unsubscribed, re-subscribed, and checked spam. We both use the same email server so it's not that.

Sorry, just a side thought as I was typing my post :)

Has there been any word/rumors/thoughts if the hopping at 2 p.m. restriction will eventually end, or any rumors if that's going to be like park reservations and here to stay?

Yes but I don't think it's high tensile. At least I sure as heck hope not.

I have no idea what constitutes a high tensile fence but this is pictures from the area I was talking about where the zebras loved to hang out when we stayed there. There’s chain link fence.

Anyone know how much these types of previews affect the rest of the park? Is this a separate later in the day event (i thought i had read something like that for the AP preview). We are not DVC or AP and will be there during the early May dates for DVC, and while we could see about moving park days, the previews are multiple days during out trip, so it probably won't help/matter much.

Just wondering if this will make the park way busier than expected? (though I already expect the parks to be busy... )

Dazzling ‘World of Color’ Returns on April 22 to Disney California Adventure Park

When “World of Color” returns, we will be adding a virtual queue system to help you view this popular show. This virtual queue is only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app. Beginning April 22, distribution times for the virtual queue enrollment will begin at noon, daily.* If you are able to make a virtual queue selection, you will receive a notification via the Disneyland app to enter the designated “World of Color” viewing area via one of the two marked entrance points (Blue or Yellow) assigned to you, approximately 45 minutes before the show begins. For how-to details on the virtual queue system, visit Disneyland.com. If the virtual queue reaches capacity, please visit the Paradise Bay viewing area shortly before “World of Color” begins to check in with a cast member for walk-up viewing options. Joining the virtual queue for World of Color is not required to view the spectacular, but it is highly recommended.

RUMOR:

Disneyland Resort to Return to Full Capacity on May 1

Sources indicate that Disneyland Resort will return to full capacity beginning May 1, 2022.

This has not yet been confirmed by Disney directly. Disney usually avoids releasing exact attendance and capacity numbers.
Disneyland has never been as solidly busy as it has been for the past year...so, I am not looking forward to this! Plus, they'll probably continue to block out our Magic Keys hoping to get us to buy day tickets instead of allowing more keys in. Yes, I'm bitter, 😂

But, good news for the park I guess!

Lol! I am an AP holder and DVC and I have yet to get an email for either. I do not have a stay booked so I wonder if that is why???

We booked the DVC preview and we do not have a reservation anywhere that day (sorta locals). It didn't appear to be a requirement like it was with the Remy preview. Our confirmation email also doesn't mention anything about staying on property.

As I mentioned on another thread, Disney had already pulled back AP passes for EPCOT for those days which caused most (if not all) of those days to appear full and unavailable for APs to make a reservation. I would imagine that the crowds in most areas of the park will be no better or worse than a normal, sold out day. Now the area near GotG will be overrun with people if these preview days are similar to FoP when it previewed for AP/DVC.

Construction Equipment Removed, Landscaping Nears Completion as Connections Café and Eatery Prepares to Open at EPCOT

Connections Café and Eatery appears ready to go at EPCOT, as the entrance from the World Discovery side seems basically finished.

Recently, we got another sign that it should be opening soon, as tables and chairs were added to the seating area.
