Yeah, the plan is for Everest, Mickey & Minnie's RR, Space Mountain & Frozen to go back to ILLS then, which is a pain, as apparently, there should be less crowds. I'm still hoping they'll decide to permanently make these attractions part of Lightning Lane instead of only during the busy periods, as it just lowers the value of Genie+ with them as ILLS
Honestly Genie+'s value would have dropped dramatically for us without these. And we use the DAS as well. Hoping it is permanent

Celestial “Eson” Named as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Antagonist

Marvel has revealed the villain for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Here’s the announcement:

A leisurely tour through the Wonders of Xandar is about to take a turn! When Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewindopens at EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer, be prepared to come face to face with Eson, who Marvel can reveal is the antagonist of the attraction!

Visitors hoping to explore and learn a little bit about the first-ever other-worldly pavilion in the area will get more than they expected when Eson, a Celestial that has been watching Earth for eons, makes a startling appearance. The Celestial is looking “to right a wrong in a big way,” and the Guardians of the Galaxy — Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot — step in to help save the day. But, they can’t do it alone and need our help to stop him from completing his grand plan!

Good Morning All! Happy Friday and Happy Early Easter! 🥳 🐰

With Easter only two days away, I thought I’d give you some tips to make sure you and yours have a wonderful Easter! Let’s get right to it!!

Let’s start off by coloring Easter eggs! Be sure that when you dye eggs the color coats all areas… for optimal results.

Next, it’s time for an Easter Egg hunt! If you have pets, I highly recommend training them to sabotage your friends so they can’t take all the eggs! Nice try Susie!

Next, take the kids to visit the Easter Bunny! You can usually find him on a lovely throne in a mall or large department store. Make sure you bring a camera to capture this special moment!!

Some children are lucky enough to get a surprise visit by the Easter bunny at School!! Keep in mind, not all children like the Easter Bunny, so make sure you prepare your child ahead of time and bring an extra pair of underwear to school for them as well… just in case.

Also, the Easter Bunny … he’s not real. So, if your kids think he is… try not to let this happen.

Speaking of surprises, the Easter Bunny typically just drops in your homes during the night with no prior notice… just so you’re aware.

If you’re lucky, after you apologize, there will be no hard feelings, and you can ask him to stay for dinner and hang out after your little misunderstanding. A good time is sure to be had by all.

Finally, be sure to keep room in that tummy for all of that delicious candy you’re going to get!!! Just make sure you save some for tomorrow!

Disney Cruise Line - Know Before You Go Updates: Requirements for Cruise Passengers Visiting Canada

Disney Cruise Line updated the Know Before You Go – Canada page on April 15th (archived) with updated health and safety protocols, including additional embarkation and debarkation requirements for passengers visiting Canada. Similar to other required protocols, the Canadian government’s requirements for cruise passengers visiting Canada are independent of Disney Cruise Line’s health and safety protocols.

DH tossed and turned all night which meant I didn't really sleep either, maybe the world was off tilt or something? Some thoughts about Disney World from the early morning now that a week has passed.

Pin trading - this feels kind of dead. Across all parks shops that did have pin boards (and there weren't many) said they couldn't bring them out until after 10. When they did bring them out the pickings were pretty bad, small and I'm guessing discontinued/unpopular mystery pins. Many looked in very rough shape and suspiciously fake, i.e. thin/chipped/rough edges/worn enamel. I actually pointed out the differences between my purchased pins and some of the obviously bad ones on the pin board and they took them down. Just very disappointing and we just stopped looking after the first week.

Meat quality in sit down Disney restaurants is noticeably down. We ordered a burger and the steak "frites" at Steakhouse 71, a burger at Sci-Fi dine in, and ate at both Boma and O'hana. The seasoning is still good but man most of the beef was down right chewy. Honestly I ended up just wanting a burger from Five Guys back home after some of these meals. And is lamb just too expensive to have on the menu now? One of my go to orders at restaurants is duck and lamb since I don't tend to make them at home, none to be found even at Ragland Road (except minced in their shepherds pie).

Overall the crowds and cast member were way more polite and friendly than I expected after 2 years of a pandemic which was a nice surprise, there was an underlying tiredness I think we all shared though :rotfl: . We did see a few school groups here and there, these did NOT get better and I attribute it to mob mentality, teenage style.

Transportation: I don't care if it's slower, the fact that you don't have to stand or be squished next to people and kids with wet coughs makes the Skyliner magic to me. Just plan to have a coffee or something with you (we had a milkshake from Beaches and Cream) and enjoy as if it were Soarin'.
