Disney & MGM

Just a question, was there some kind of falling out or potential problem between Disney & MGM? In the most recent Vacation planning DVD we received from disney ( Magical Gatherings ), the video of Disney MGM studio's front main entrance/gate has the MGM part of the sign digitally edited out. The preschoolers guide in the packet refers to Disney-MGM, but the Grand gatherings guide refers to Disney Studios. At first I just thought Disney studios could be short for Disney-MGM, but then when I saw the dvd and saw the gate, I paused it and you could see the pixelization in the picture of where they edited out the MGM part of the sign. Just curious. Thanks.

I believe that there may be talk of removing the "MGM" from the name to focus more on the "Disney," as in the French park. Not really a falling out, just having to do with brand identification.

They've been doing it for a while and I've heard all the rumors possible about MGM connection dissapearing but it's here to stay for now
