Disney Limbo?

OK, I am stuck in Disney Limbo! I have the 4/3 package reserved for 4 of the 5 nights we are going to be traveling. The first night however was not avail for the package, but I was able to make a room reservation same place, same category.. So in essence I have 4 nights (no free nights but $200 gift card) + 1 exta night same category for 5 nights. Make sense? I have faithfully continued to check back to see if that first night opens up, and on Monday of this week, I found a sympathetic CM who said they would be able to help me convert the extra night into the package, but that it would take some time. I also discovered the price was $300 higher with the package than without, which no one was able to explain why. I think this is why the CM said he would try to assist. Well, here it is Friday, and I still don't know my status. I can no longer pull up my reservation on the Disney Website - as I get an error message. I did receive a call on Wed. from the CM saying system was down, and would get back to me. Has anyone else had something similar happen. I could switch resorts to take advantage of the package elsewhere , but would only do that as a second choice. I guess I am impatiently waiting Any advice?

OK, Disney called back and was able to offer us the package on the first night! No longer in limbo
