:earsgirl: We have always gone in late July (big mistake - longer lines, hot, hot weather) and this year we finally get to go in November. I can't wait! Kids can never handle the heat and we usually end up going back to the hotel and swim. Disney here we come? Does anyone know how to set up the thread where you can do a Disney countdown?

Thanks!

Karen

Early Novemeber is my favorite time to visit the parks personally!! Go to the tech board and there are instructions for countdown clocks.

P.S.-- Welcome to the DIS!!

:bounce: Thanks for your post. We're so looking forward to no long lines and getting right on things. Also can't wait to see animals out our window at the Animal Kingdom! Thanks for the info. on getting a countdown clock as well!

I was there the 16-23 of November in 02, and it was MAGICAL, the Christmas decorations were up, the weather was a bit on the cool side (yet still shorts weather), and all in all it was incredible! I am planning on going back in Nov 08 for my 40th, and can't wait!!

Excellent choice. We may make it to WDW in November too:earsboy:

You will love it! Enjoy your stay!

Yes, we went end of November/early December, and it was fantastic. Christmas decorations were up, weather was much more tolerable than summer heat and did I say Christmas decorations were up? You may even hit the food and wine festival, if that's your thing at all.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. We went Nov 2 - 11 and had great weather and low crowds.

Are the crowds low even with the Veteran's Day holiday? We're going to WDW Nov 6-13 this year. Our kids are off school the 11th and 12th for V Day and Teacher's Institute day. We decided to go since our kids would only end up missing 3 days of school, but I'm afraid half of the USA will have the same days off for school and decide to go to WDW also.

Be aware that the NJ teacher's convention is scheduled for Nov 4-6, and it seems like the whole state goes down during that time for a quick vacation! It's actually become known unofficially as "Jersey Week!" While it won't be as crowded as peak time, the parks definitely won't be empty!!! Having said that, the weather is nice, and the Food and Wine Festival is a lot of fun!!! :earsboy:

Yup...That is Jersey Week. I will be there from Nov 6 - 13. But I will have more fun with just my DH next week when we fly down alone!!

We are going Nove 15-22 and we are hoping the crowds will be low. It is after the food and wine fest and a week before Thanksgiving. (we will be going home the monday before Thanksgiving)
I've never gone at this time before so we will see. My favorite time is right after Thanksgiving!!!!
