Final Total................$ 1,265.32

Gonna have to look seriously at this....!

The only black out dates I read were April5th thru 18th! So it is a good deal!

When I talked to the reservation assistant, the price quote was cheaper than what I was getting online. He told me that you had to call to get the best price.

We were able to book at the Polynesian and saved around 1500.00. I am excited. We have never stayed there before. THanks so much for all of the tips.

I also wanted to add that we are going in March and he said that tomorrow pirates and princess party tickets will go on sale. I am thinking of booking this.

Upgraded from 3 nights to 7 .. spent about $670 more but I don't have to worry about tickets now...

Okay, I must be really dumb :headache: I can't for the life of me get this price. It keeps coming to $1,433.16 - 2 people - ASMu, preferred, quick service and park hopper (no water park option)...what am I missing?! :sad2: ($397 is A LOT!)

Sorry I was rushing had to take dd to therapy that was without the quick service sorry to make you go CRAZY!!! It was a preferred room for 2 ppl no quick svc soooo sorry! I screwed up! That's what I get for rushing! :(

I'm not so sure about that....:confused3 If you book online using the special offers link "buy 4 get 3 free" the price is just that. The price from the CM and the price online are exactly the same. :goodvibes You do not get a better price by calling and booking it with CRO. As with many of the CM at CRO, he is misinformed.

You'll love the Poly, have a great trip:wizard:

What if you have AP's and don't need park tickets?

If you have AP's you just have to book a 1day base ticket for each person in your party to make the deal a package. Save the ticket to upgrade to another AP when yours expires:goodvibes

How can I tell if the Disney customer service person gave me the right price?

This seems sort of high to me:
Jan 16 - Jan 25 (9 nights) at Pop Century (standard room, but over MLK weekend)
7 days of park tickets (base)
No insurance option
No dining plan
This is for 2 adults, and a teen

Total given was $1259.19, minus $200 gift card = $1059.19

What do you guys think? Is this the right price, or did the Disney CM mess it up?

Just saw a commercial advertising the deal already. Seems like they are really going to push it. The moderate and deluxe resorts still seem so pricey, even with this discount.

That seems about right. Here is a rough estimate using rates found on mousesavers.com...

$92/night x 3 = $276
$82/night x 3(3 nights free) = $246
$243/7 night base ticket x 3 = $729

Total = $1251 - $200gc = $1051 and that doesn't even account for tax on the room or an additional "adult" on your reservation.

I just got off the phone with reservations. I got a 7 night package with dining for 2 adults and 2 children ar POFQ standard room, no park hopping for a total of $2409.30! Tha's only $100 more than my trip last year with 2 more hotel nights and 2 more days of dining included this time!!!!! Hooray:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Not sure if it was such a good deal.
5 people (2 adults, 3 children, 11,6,4)
2 rooms at POP (non preferred)
plus dining plan
plus park hoppers
no insurance
$3306

Thanks for the explanation. I think I'm going to stick with the townhouse we rented, since it's not much more money, and we won't be cramped into a little room.

I just got off the phone with the CM and the quote I got was way off from the online reservation.

For All Star Music for a family of five with 7 day park hoppers I got 2561.41 for the family suite.

I called to get a price for two standard rooms and he quoted me 3676.51 (seemed high to me) and I also had him check the price for the family suite and he quoted me 3656.51 for the same as I did online for 2561.41. I asked him about this and he said sometimes the online pricing and the phone pricing are slightly different.:scared1: I think about 1100.00 is more than slightly different. Needless to say I told him I would book online.

OK - decided against it... DVC is paid for, I have great rooms & dates booked, no point in meddling with something the kids and I are perfectly happy with :goodvibes I love DVC.

It's just *SO* hard to pass up on a deal :lmao:

Me too!!! Booked DVC at AKV on rented points for Spring Break. I almost wanted to cry :sad1: when I saw this offer...because I've worked sooo hard the last couple of months to get this trip booked.
But, we'll get to stay at AKV, rather than a value, so I guess that's OK. I really want to book another trip, but DH says "NO WAY!"

I think you'll be very happy you stuck with your villa. While we love Pop, you can't beat the space and amenities of a villa--even a studio.

I think this is a great deal and I'm so happy that so many of you are getting great deals and booking your vacations! Good luck!!:goodvibes

ok i called the wdw reservation line when the offer first started and I dont know if i got a good deal or not. could someone please help me. this is our first time going so dont have a clue about prices. here is what i was offered

June 14 - June 21
2 adults and 2 children(12 &14)
tickets for all days that include hopping and water parks
Hotel is at the music resort
trip insurance and transportation to/from airport
NO dining/ No air
TOTAL Price = $1984.00
from what I see others posting not sure if this is a good deal, should i maybe cancel this and try to book on my own or other agency?
also is fastpass included with the type of tickets i got?
thanks everyone for all your help

Disney will be definitely keeping them up. their shares are down 9% and the theme parks are hurting.. They decided to have this program to boast sales starting in Jan hoping people will take advantage of the deals and spend their money in WDW.... :confused3

Here's my 2 cents to someone going for the first time.
First, fastpass is an option for everyone, not based on a particular type of ticket.
Second, if you are trying to save money, I'd reconsider the park hopper option. It is expensive and while many enjoy it (we don't use it), it is an expense you do not need to have. We got hoppers on our first trip and used them just once and never paid for it again.
I don't know much about this deal as we go every otehr year and are going in 2 weeks so this is not somehting we could use. But seeing it is your first trip, you may want to save that expense.
Enjoy your irst trip, it's very addictive!!!
