Help!!

Online you have to make 2 seperate reservations. If you want to make them together you need to call 407-WDISNEY.

Good Luck!!!

I figure I saved $278.56 plus the $200 Disney Gift Card on my week's reservation during Spring Break at Pop Century. I had a room only reserved using my AAA discount and had planned on buying tickets from UCT for 6 days hopper. It's not a HUGE savings, but I already had as good a deal as was available, and now it is even better!

:cheer2:

Wow. You guys are killlling meeeeee! :rotfl2:

So, DH had a surprise cheapo offisite trip orig planned with the kids. Instead, I called about the deal and got SEVERAL quotes....hope this helps you alll!

WHO: ME (birthday during the trip if we go!), DH, DD (5, turning 6 during the trip if we go!), ds, 2.5 (free), ds, 1.5 (free)

Here are the quotes I got, I was a pain and asked for several:goodvibes :

WL March 15-22
Courtyard View w/ bunkbeds
Base Park Tix for 3 (2 adults, one child...the other 2 are free)
2645.77 (plus 200.00 GC, plus 150.00 in cards for mine and DD birthdays)
if you subtract the giftcards for the total, it comes to 2296.77

***NOTE: My CM also priced this one out seperately w/o the deal to see the savings.....our total would have been 4204.64!!!!!! :scared1:

WL CABINS March 15-22
Base Park Tix for 3 (2 adults, one child...the other 2 are free)
2263.43 (plus 200.00 GC, plus 150.00 in cards for mine and DD birthdays)
if you subtract the giftcards for the total, it comes to 1913.43

THEN, I looked into going in February, to avoid Spring Break and hit Value season instead (which ends Feb 19)....here's what I got:

WL Feb 8-15
Courtyard View w/ Bunkbeds
Base Park Tix for 3 (2 adults, one child...the other 2 are free)
2244.07 since we wouldn't be there for DD or my birthday, we wouldn't get the 150.00 GC from that, but we do still get the 200.00 one....subtract that from the total, and it comes to 2044.07

Still not sure what we are going to do. We put the FW Cabins on hold right now, but DH really wants to do WL. But, this is HIGHER than our cheapo trip that we had orig. planned for May, so I don't know if it's worth it. Plus, crowds are going to be CCRRAAAZZYY!!!

Also, something quite a few of you might not know.....there is a problem with making ADR's right now...they are upgrading the system and you cannot make any ADR's until Dec. 22. (The only ones you can make are for CRT, CM, and V&A). This could be a real cluster when that gets up in running for everyone trying to squeeze in dining for these new ressies.

For more info on that, there is a huge update threat on the Restaurants Board.

Now, back to my decision making!!! :headache:

Good work on the adr reminder!!! a few clients called me about that today and I forgot to mention it here!!!

Sorry if this was already posted:

What kind of tickets are they? Are they park hopper tickets? Do they expire?

Me too!!! Booked DVC at AKV on rented points for Spring Break. I almost wanted to cry :sad1: when I saw this offer...because I've worked sooo hard the last couple of months to get this trip booked.
But, we'll get to stay at AKV, rather than a value, so I guess that's OK. I really want to book another trip, but DH says "NO WAY!"

I think you'll be very happy you stuck with your villa. While we love Pop, you can't beat the space and amenities of a villa--even a studio.

I think this is a great deal and I'm so happy that so many of you are getting great deals and booking your vacations! Good luck!!:goodvibes

OK, I feel better now. :yay:
I priced out our Spring Break trip, and for us to stay at Pop, 2 adult and 2 child park hoppers, no dining, our total would be $1708.80. That's only $50 less than staying at AKV for 5 nights and getting our 6 day park hoppers thru Undercover.
We have stayed at Pop and Sports before, but I'm really looking forward to AKV. I've heard it's a destination in and of itself.
Now, I am missing out on the $200 gift card, but I can't miss what I never had, right?!?! :confused3 Plus, we really can't stay for 7 nights. We need to figure in driving time. I priced flights and good gravy :scared1: ...let's just say we ain't flyin!
I'm glad this will allow more folks to take a trip to WDW!

Here is 1 of the differents between Jan and June ressies they cost more due to season.

also is fastpass included with the type of tickets i got?
thanks everyone for all your help

OK, Have a Great First Trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you are doing your figuring, you have to realize that even though your "kids" are 12 and 14, they are considered "adult" in all Disney pricing, so you are really paying for 4 adults. I would never go without park hopping so that is something I think you would want, even if you just hop over to a different park to see they fireworks/Fantasmic/Illuminations, etc. The waterparks is a pricey addition, but if that is something you really want to do, keep it or maybe just figure it out without it and buy a one-day ticket there? We never buy insurance, but that is a personal decision. So really, for 4 adults with parkhopping and waterparks and more and insurance, I think that is a really good price!

goofyboyzmom,
Fastpass is not something that is included on your park ticket. They give out Fastpasses at the park for the rides that usually have longer waits. There is no cost and anyone with a park ticket can pick one up at the attraction. There are machines - you stick your ticket in and a Fastpass comes out with a return time on it.

Just a quick note in response to rubyrain's post -- Disney's fastpass is included in all tickets -- it doesn't matter where you buy them or if you stay on site. Fastpass is available by placing your ticket in a machine at the attraction, and it will spit out a fastpass along with your ticket. Fastpass is completely free as a feature of all tickets. Some rides have all the fastpasses gone fairly early in the day (Soarin') for instance. You should note that since everyone can get them, there may not be any when you want them (or there could be plenty, you never know...).

Oh, I would love to go during DDs spring break (March 21-28). Actually I'd love to go the week earlier to hit both kiddo's birthdays, but can't take DD out of school again. However, airfare would kill us. The cheapest I could find was SW at almost $500/person. We flew in Sept/Oct for just over $200/person. Don't think we'll get in on this one.

I don't understand why you are telling me this?? I know what a Fastpass is and have lots of experience using it?????

i think because another poster, rubyrain, was asking if fastpass is included in the price?

Will this deal include the 30 min arcade card? I know you get one with 2009 packages but is it included in this new package deal?

The quote i got from my TA included the arcade card, but what arcade are they talking about? :confused3

It is a 30 min arcarde card you can use in your resorts arcade.

I wonder how this will work at pop though cause you can win prizes at their arcade with tickets.
I have a plan to maximize it if it is for 30 min from first use. :thumbsup2
