Disney Gift Card Deals

Okay, just peeking here, haven't read all the day's posts, but darn it there isn't another 5x promo! and my cards still aren't here(stamping my feet as I bought early in the day on that last one just for this reason of another last min offer!), but finally shipped, but wont' arrive till Thursday after the promo! Ugh! But, did notice all this talk of gamestop cards. And some gc's not going thru target is good! So, I'm checking to clarify some things if some could help please.

So, what I'm seeing, I think, is that I could go to GCM and buy say $300 in gc's, digital gc's that they will send to my email, so I can use them from my phone. Then I go to my local gamestop store and buy $300 of ebay gc's. And then I come home and can do another round and buy $300 more in GCM Gamestop cards, and go back again and buy more, and maybe flip again! Is that all correct? Eventually then I'd take a round and buy Target cards to convert to Disney cards, right? (Being that I;m in this to eventually convert for my trip). I did call my local Gamestop and they did say I could buy Ebay gc's, $25 - $500 with a digital gamestop on my phone. He did say to read it to be sure it does that but he did say they allow that. And I just called to verify and he, the manager said they had no limit and I asked if I could do it a couple times if I got more and he said yes, there's not any limit.

So, any of you who are doing this, it seems this may be a good option for now to add some Ebay bucks with a little flipping, lol. Do I have the process down right? And if they allow the purchase, as he said they do, all should go well and I'll make some ebay bucks?
Hopefully the ebay bucks will show up, DD25 got this offer(i did not but i'm at the $500 limit), I see some are having trouble getting the bucks to show.

Mostly right. GCM doesn't have digital gc's. Paypal digital gifts is the one with the digital giftcards. They have a $1000 limit every 30 days (rolling). So, you could get $500 in game stop, use that to get $500 in ebay, and then do it again, and you'd make $100 off the 2 trips to gamestop. You might want to consider how far you have to drive to get to gamestop if you are looking to do smaller amounts per churn.

Very much yes..the small amount is to try and get ebates to trigger money back to you. Also don't forget to use a redcard to trigger 5% off your total. IE select your eBay cards under payment select your red card enter info then go back and add your target gift card as payment..your purchase total will reduce 5%

I have a Word doc with various posts cut and pasted. I'm adding this piece of helpful info this to my "Churning" doc. I didn't know about the way to trigger the 5%. I do have a Redcard and will buy the Ebay card when I receive my Target card. Thank you!

It is paypal, selling digital giftcards, so they are as reliable as paypal lol. I've only had them screw up 1 order, and they fixed it pretty quick (it just took like 3 days and I had to e-mail them to get my cards sent, normally I have them within about 30 minutes).

The $1000 limit is actually not really stated anywhere, that I could find. I've been able to go just a little bit over it before, but it was less than $25. They *may* also enforce a $250 limit per order, but then again they let me order 3 $150 best buy cards in 1 order earlier this month, so who knows lol. Part of paypal being paypal, I think. I posted a quote of a link someone else posted earlier, but I'm too lazy to search for it now lol.

Am I looking at the right thing? When I go to PayPal digital gift cards & choose GameStop, it's telling me email delivery date is April 6. Yet it also states to allow 24 hrs for email gc. Which is it? It can't really be email delivery on April 6, can it?

I've been enjoying reading about the Gamestop churn and just bought my 1st $50 egc. I would have gotten more but my money is "Touring the US" too.
I just realized that Iconsumer $20 limited was reached $600 ago. Oh well.

I *think* the ebay card limit may be 14. At least, it puked on me at 15, twice lol. I decided to chance it and get sears gift cards. I'm in Indy every other weekend, so I can kind of spread out my ebay gc purchases among multiple Kmarts. Bummer that they seem to only have $25 cards, though. I can work around it to keep from impacting too badly what I get, as long as I can do 14 cards per order

Thanks! I'd never heard of PayPal digital gift cards. With an e bucks special, it's a good outlet for other gc in general. I'll have to scope it all out!

So just thinking here and adding something to the mix with this whole Gamestop thing. If you have a Chase Ink and possibly a Sapphire you could buy the gamestop gift cards from Staples through Ebates and have them emailed to you to start the process of the churn. With Chase you get 5x the points at Staples on purchases because they bill it as office supplies and you would get the Ebates for shopping at Staples.

I think I am starting to confuse myself with all of the steps so I may be off base on making this work. My mind is not processing right now all of the steps. I need to write them down

I received my shipping notice for my order from 3/24. I think it was minniekins and a few others who posted theirs hadn't shipped yet, so wanted to update mine had and hopefully all of yours will soon too! I also ordered $450 target cards from eBay today. Wondering can you combine eBay gift cards with credit card for payment or does the system only allow one or the other. Because I was going to order more and charge to my credit card linked to my account but when I tried to do that it seemed like it would be taking the difference from my linked bank account instead and I really don't want that.

I still have 2 rounds of orders from last week GCM/Ebay bonus bucks offer that haven't shipped and one that is 'in tranist' but not showing in tracking. I messaged them today and they told me to expect it to be at least another week before shipping. That means I'm going to miss out completely on the 10x offer I received today GCM told me that their standard turn-around time is 7-10 business days before shipping. That's never been my experience, but it is apparently their policy

Sorry you're all going thru it, too! So frustrating! Mine ended up shipping supposedly Mar 28, so last night, but still sit in CO, but due here 3/31! Just missing by one day! UGH! But, otoh, I'm glad that they are coming at least and I didn't loose anythin, well other than more ebay bucks to make at the last minute, lol. SMH!

Okay, so thx, DIS_MERI! I looked up that link and was reading the info. It does say the limit is a paypal limit, so if you have two paypal accounts, you'd double the limit! Thinking of trying that, we'll see how it goes. Two ebays doesn't matter with one paypal, but if you have two paypal that could be great!

The stars aligned today! Got a 5x offer,mailman was early today and brought my GC order from 3/23, I had an extended lunch,ordered my ebay cards thru target, received them and ordered my ebay cards all before going back to work this afternoon. This evening I rounded up all my gift card scraps and a couple SB rewards and ordered another 150.00 ebay gc which I promptly churned in into a Target GC order. I remembered to activate ebates in addition to using the 5x offer and finished the quarter off with more than I could have ever expected!

BTW, I always purchase two $200 GC with a $50 and the orders go thru just fine. One order was cancelled a few weeks ago and the net one sailed thru.

PS. My son got a job at Disneyland this morning and is moving from WA state to start there on the 21st of April!!!!! (Can you say field trip???)

What I did to start my churn was to use my Discover It card I got in December. They have the quarterly 5% bonuses and then at the end of the first year, you get it again so it's effectively 10% back. I didn't start doing the gift card thing until February though so with this quarter being for gas station purchases I had to do some recon to find gas stations selling eBay gift cards. Mission accomplished and I maxed out the quarterly limit.

Anyway, so I got the confirmation email to my paypal email. Where will the email with the cards come to, my email because of paypal, or hers because of the ebay being hers? I definitely bought email cards but it does say it ships to her physical address. But, it will come to the phone email, right?
Eta: I also got a confirmation at DD25's acct just now. And again confirming her street address, makes me a little nervous, lol, but says email delivery.

I can't wait to hear how the Gamestop churning goes, @Minniekins . I guess b/c I *never* shop at Gamestop, the whole deal seems terrifying and daunting to me. I really am interested though. It seems like it could be an even better option if your Gamestop allows the purchase and has the GC's in stock.
