I had to verify just like you guys did. I'm not sure what's going on, but I ordered something else without the gift cards and I didn't have to verify. Must just be with the cards.

This happened tonight with my mom's account. She just got on the churning train to save for our joint trip in Oct, so I was letting her use my $1650 in Target cards to churn so that she can get in on this 5x promo before the quarter ends (my account is maxed anyway). We did one order of $750 and then went to do another but it kept having us verify. Also, the GCs themselves were having issues, as half the time it would say "we can't apply this GC to your order". I finally got fed up and told her to go home and try there since that computer is the primary one associated with her account. How many times did you guys have to verify before your order went through? I verified twice through texts and had another three times where I could't get the GCs to stick. If we can't get it to go, do we call eBay or paypal? Also, are the eBay cards that we tried to use now "stuck" to her account even though the orders didn't go through?

I can't wait to hear how the Gamestop churning goes, @Minniekins . I guess b/c I *never* shop at Gamestop, the whole deal seems terrifying and daunting to me. I really am interested though. It seems like it could be an even better option if your Gamestop allows the purchase and has the GC's in stock.

I feel the same way. I have a game stop about 10 minutes from my house. I actually took my girls in there the other day and while checking out I asked if they accept giftcards to purchase giftcards. The guy sounded inside but he said he didn't think they were suppose to do that. It didn't sound like he knew for sure but I get the feeling he's never ran into it. Maybe it's an untapped market in my town

Yeah of they don't allow I will be pretty upset, lol! I called twice and asked about coming in and doing it a couple times. He asked So you're buying online and then want to buy eBay cards, and I said yeah and he said it should be fine, that have no limits using gc's or how many you can buy. He's one of the managers. I asked if he'd be there tomorrow but he's off, darn it, lol, but I also asked if the other managers who were working would say the same thing and he said yes. And he said they had them there, you could get $25 - $500. So hopefully all will go well! A few times! Depending how well, after I do my PayPal limit, well, 900), I may try with DD25's account, but that depends how the store is working with me, lol.

made me verify, it didn't go thru so said to pick another form pymt but I tried to verify again and it went thru. Then I tried to change which bank I was using and had to verify again. Eventually it worked lol. Last week I had trouble with gc's sticking so had to do the orders a few times but eventually they all went thru. I did sign in and out a few times lol. Last weeks orders were definitely a pain with all that typing in the numbers and then just shipping late Monday night, geez. But, I guess it's definitely all worth it for the eBay bucks, etc!

I have a Gamestop about 4 mins away so it would be convenient. I have gone in a few times to just look around and it is a different 16yo working there each time. They are always busy. Maybe time to call or go in and ask...

Her account finally worked when she got home. Didn't even have to retype the GCs lol. She is going to call around to a few Gamestops in our area in the morning so we can get some more in that way as well. Trying to get in the full $500 Ebay bucks in 2 days! She bought $525 Ebay with her Redcard at a Target today, we should have $1750 after churning my Target GCs through her account and I have another $400 in eBay that I churned previously, so we are over halfway there! If we can get in $2k through Gamestop (my account + her account) then we might get pretty close. It looks like we have at least 10 Gamestops in reasonable driving distance, so I'm hoping we can get it to work. Might get the rest OOP through GCM.

ETA: I'm considering taking some of my Target GCs to a B&M Target to exchange them for eBay to lessen the risk of churning so much through her Target account. We loose $50-$100 depending, but could make that up OOP.

I *think* the ebay card limit may be 14. At least, it puked on me at 15, twice lol. I decided to chance it and get sears gift cards. I'm in Indy every other weekend, so I can kind of spread out my ebay gc purchases among multiple Kmarts. Bummer that they seem to only have $25 cards, though. I can work around it to keep from impacting too badly what I get, as long as I can do 14 cards per order

Are you going into Sears and buying a Kmart gc there ? What are you then buying at Kmart?

What I did to start my churn was to use my Discover It card I got in December. They have the quarterly 5% bonuses and then at the end of the first year, you get it again so it's effectively 10% back. I didn't start doing the gift card thing until February though so with this quarter being for gas station purchases I had to do some recon to find gas stations selling eBay gift cards. Mission accomplished and I maxed out the quarterly limit.

That is a great idea! I have the discover IT card too and did not think of looking in gas stations for any eBay cards....

I figured I would email or call this morning if it hadn't corrected itself. It is still saying $2. I went to click on contact us and wow is it tough to find the phone #. It keeps giving me more links. Well, if a link helped me I wouldn't need to contact u Ebay! Anyone have the number I need to call?

Did you enroll in Ebay Bucks before you bought your gift card? That was my mistake when I first started. I saw an offer, but I didn't enroll separately. I thought eBay bucks were an automatic perk. I missed out on the bonus because I didn't enroll. Just an idea as to why you didn't get your bonus.

More than likely they will just give you a one time increase or try and persuade you did not receive an offer emailnsonits not valid...if so just claim bait and switch on the offer clearly marked on the site without any indication it was

Just an FYI it may be store policy or simply the person may not be aware they can churn the gift card. It's hitnor miss in some areas..it's best if u have multiple stores local to you so you can rotate the churning every so often

For those of us doing the Gamestop churn.. It's worth mentioning that if you are a Power-up Rewards member you earn double points on purchases between now and August 31. This includes prepaid cards. So for example, if you churn $500 it equates to 10,000 rewards points which equates to a $10 off certificate. I can confirm that I received the points last week when churning through Gamestop and buying Ebay cards. I'm unsure if the rewards certificate can be used on prepaid cards or not because I haven't tried but I think they do.

No, you won't earn eBay Bucks on the purchase of an eBay gift card

You can purchase an eBay gift card with another eBay gift card, but you won't earn eBay bucks.

I was told by the Gamestop manager at my local store that Gamestop gift cards are considered cash. That's their policy. If any of you have trouble I would push the issue.

I think I'm going to throw in a Gamestop churn today for the first time. I called and verified with my local store that they will let you buy gift cards with a gift card, but I have one question: are the eBay cards you buy at Gamestop reloadable or do purchase a new one every time?
