Disney Gift card consolidation

Before I consolidate all my Disney Gift cards onto one card online, does anyone know if the total on the cards (that were purchased here in Canada) is converted to USD, or does it stay in Canadian Dollars for the consolidation?

If you convert it to a US$ card it will convert to US$, if you convert it to another CDN$ card it will stay in Canadian dollars.

I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't consolidate the ones we can get in Canada. I've never tried it myself so I can't be sure.

I consolidated at least 5 Cdn cards into one without any issue. The funds remain in Cdn but the website shows its current value in usd (changes everyday since it’s based on current exchange rate).

I just added my CAD cards onto a US one, they were converted to USD.
