The brulee was rich and fabulous!

Going back to being a lurker again...what a sad existance...

Be careful... Bad things could happen if you ingest 100 pages of food porn in such a short time. :hyper: :bitelip:   :hyper: :scared1: :hyper:  :faint:
:faint:

Good luck. :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

OK, 3 days may be just a bit obsessive but 2 of them were on the weekend!! Only 1 more week and we are headed to the world. I will check back when I return and will attempt to add my own porn (after all, hubby wanted to know what I was going to do with myself in July:lmao: ) In the meantime, someone was kind enough to direct me to the drink pics page and I'm thinking I may just obsess over them for awhile!

My ADR's were made based on what I saw here so I'm not sure I will contribute anything new (LeCellier mushroom filet and Kona tuna oscar here I come!!) but you never know what DH and DS's will choose

escargot - I didn't order this (my friend did) but I tried a bit (sorry to all escargot lovers, I didn't like it)
So what does Escargo taste like anyways? I'd try one, if it were available as JUST one, but I wont waste a meal credit on one and then hate it.

Tokyo Dining, dinner

iced green tea
Great! I was wondering if it was there. i suppose I could have just checked the menu. On our last trip this Green Tea got our family's hands down favorite beverage award.:thumbsup2 If you go to EITHER of the Japanese restaurants Teppen Edo OR Tokyo Dining you MUST try the green tea!:thumbsup2 Its so beautiful. The color and texture is just mezmorizing. It was one of the most thirst quenching drinks I've drank too. I have a Vitamix. I'd LOVE to know how they make it!

Oh, and as far as all the OT remarks about the meat pinkness... I really don't see the big fuss. Just hear me out... I'm making a point here... ;) If a thread sits too long it gets lost in the shuffle. Soon its faded into the DIS history, only to be repeated a few months later under a slightly different name. Like my thread on swimming pictures. Feel free to OT it all you want... as long as it doesn't get nasty and shut down, or hurt anyone's feelings, all is game in keeping a good thread alive!!!:cool1: .Its all the little OT comments (like this one I'm posting at this second) that help keep it on top of the pile.
The same applies to bumping. People get all bent out of shape because some people (like myself) might "bump" a thread. They argue that you can join without bumping. But joining without bumping don't help keep a struggling thread alive!!! Bumping helps keep it on top.:thumbsup2

Why spend the money for beef tenderloin when you turn it into a tough piece of round steak by over cooking it.
I don't buy beef tenderloin. I'm an Italian Sausage / hamburger / chicken person.:thumbsup2 If I buy beef its usually JERKY!!!:rotfl2: :happytv: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: And (Apostolic) the Jerky I got today was dusted with Habanero powder!!!:cool1:
Who needs to taste the meat when you have such fine spices?:lmao:

And while I'm spoiling the thread with side notes...
Remember how I said I was going to buy some scallops this week?
HOLY CRAP!!! Has anyone PRICED scallops lately????:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
What; did a hurricane take all the little critters out??? My goodness! $11 a pound??? I was pointing out to my wife that you could buy fresh gourmet crab stuffed salmon for less than half the price!!! Whats up with the scallops???

I guess I'll be adding that to my next WDW wish list!:thumbsup2

PS: Thanks for all the meat comments. I see I am NOT alone. But just for the record, I will eat a steak if its a little pink, I just don't want it chewing its cud while its on my plate.::yes::

That HUGE mickey mouse rice krispie treat is unbelievable looking. I so hope they have this when we go in december,my girls will freak, lol

Berry cobbler at Artist Pointe at the Wilderness Lodge.

I agree! That is a seriously good dessert! I was really surprised by how good it was.

Funny story.... The 1st time we ate at AP happened to be on my b-day. Our nice server came out after we finished our entrees to inform us there was no need to order dessert. The house would be treating the b-day girl to their best dessert. While that was very nice of them, we were a bit disappointed. You must understand that my family only orders an appy & entree as a prelude to dessert. :p We had already decided what we wanted, but felt we had to be gracious & accept her offer. Now, we're resorting to making jokes about how we'd probably get the cobbler. (We needed to do something to suppress the disappointment. :o) We're southern & cobbler is a throw together dessert for us, when there's no time or ingredients for anything else. It's definitely not for special occasions. Anything but cobbler would be fine. Then.... Here she comes.... You guessed it! She brought out the cobbler. :rotfl: We didn't laugh for long. We were too busy stuffing our face. This is not your "mom's" cobbler.
